Richard Van Der Sluys received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Bowling Green State University and graduated from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1992 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

I broke a filling and finding my current dentist of 15 years was no longer in network with my new company's insurance plan - I called Dr. Van Der Sluys' office. They were able to get me in the next day with an office visit to assess the situation. Once I got in - the visit turned into a full restoration with a new filling - all in less than an hour. Dr Van Der Sluy was incredible and got my tooth fixed so fast I could not believe it. Great job. I have found a new dentist.

Richard Van Der Sluys is a great, very experienced friendly professional dentist who definitely knows what he is doing and will treat you right!
He is always taking care of me and my wife plus I know friends who are also very happy with his service. He is the best dentist I've ever had.

Dr.Van Der Sluys and his team provide excellent dental care.
I have very sensitive teeth and his team are extremely good with my needs and comfort levels.
Dr.Van Der Sluys is very professional and a skilled dentist, his entire staff is very knowledgeable and caring.
I've had several dentists over the past few years but have always gotten some trauma. Now I have had completely different experience and having top quality care I've never experienced in Seattle area.
Although there are bunch of dental clinics in Sammamish, I totally trust their judgement and care for my dental health and I am happy

My family and I have been patients here for approximately 4 years and wouldn't want to go to anyone else! The staff are outstanding and Dr. Van Der Sluys is extremely professional and an exquisite dentist! Even after we moved from Redmond Ridge to Lake Stevens, we continue to utilize their services...we wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Don't go here. 7:30 am appointment got cancelled at 4:30pm previous day because hygienist is sick. When asked for another appointment, got told that next appointment is 3 months from now, and that they are not willing to accommodate any other time before that. They don't seem to realize that it was their fault that the appointment got cancelled. Also, the receptionist was extremely rude, and not willing to consider any other solution.
Even though the dentist is ok, my family will never go to this dentist again. There are plenty of other nearby dentists.

I've been coming here for a few years now and have consistently had high quality service. Everyone is pleasant and extremely competent. The receptionist/office manager knows how my insurance works and advises my scheduling with mastery. The dentist is excellent and has a great touch. I never feel pain. He is also honest. If I don't need work, he doesn't suggest it. The support staff is great too. I highly recommend this clinic and do so to my coworkers since my office is very close.

I had a chipped tooth and my old dentist was not available, I also hated to go to them for cleanings because they ALWAYS found something that was just within my insurance's limits.
This office was were able to get me in that day and had a temporary fix that day. He also did a great job on a permanent fix and cleanings are much better than my previous dentist. If you want personal care from a great dentist, this is your place.
