I ride and own a sportbike, and planed on going up the Central Coast of California on Labor Day weekend. My girlfriend decided she wanted to go with me, so I needed a cruiser or touring bike, that was capable of taking two people. I looked at the obvious choices for motorcycle rentals, like Eagle Riders, and Moto Quest. I had a hard time wrapping my head at the rental cost of the bikes. So after some quick Google searches, I came across Bikers West.
I called the owner and inquired about the Yamaha V-Star 1100's, and the Goldwings. The owner (Mike) stated that the Yamaha's are no longer

Best place in LA to rent a motorcycle. Half the price of competition with no hidden charges like the rest. Free helmet and gloves to use. This is small business run by guy who just loves bikes. Not much spit and polish but well maintained by owner for safety and reliability. Mike is retired and does this for fun and love of motorcycles!

I have just returned from a week's touring on one of Mike's Holdings. Mike is an absolute gentleman. He actually operates from his house which is just down the road where his business was. From the initial contact through to the airport pick up and getting the bike, everything was spot on. I have no complaints whatsoever. I have nothing but praise and appreciation for him. He has true, honest old fashioned values and I will most certainly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Honda whilst in California.
