My husband and I decided to book a weekend getaway to Port A. After researching different places to stay we booked at Cinnamon Shore. This place was amazing. The condo we rented was beautiful and so clean. The bed was so comfortable and the condo was equipped with everything you'd need. The resort offers so much from a heated pool to different restaurants to eat at. You literally don't have to leave the grounds! They have everything. We stayed in bunkhouse 10-303. Highly recommend!

The property looks nice & is a fun place.
Our issues were: you always get the answering machine when you call the office. Also, the office closes at 7 so you get some off site person if you have issues after 7.
One of our bedrooms didn't have a cable box & it took 2 days for them to get us a fire stick.
Also- we had issues with our door lock several times, our front door wouldn't stay closed unless it was locked. The door didn't fit right so the keypad lock would hang up.We had to call the office & get maintenance 2 times.
The Pizza restaurant was SO GOOD!

Perfect place to enjoy a family beach vacation without having to leave Texas. We had a great time driving the golf cart to the beach and loved having the umbrellas and chairs set up for us. All of the restaurants on site were really good too. Our condo rental was very spacious and clean. Grounds were also well kept. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Shore! It's right on the beautiful beach, has great pools and very much enjoyed the restaurants! There were plenty of opportunities for recreational and nightly activities!
We didn't give it 5 stars because of the following: it would have been nice to have more restaurants and also would have been nice if the 5 bedroom, 14 person unit would have been stocked with more than one package of paper towels.

Great location and beautiful property but I spent my first 3 days killing cockroaches in the house. I saw two huge ones my first day there (one by my toothbrush, the other on the master bathroom floor) and another giant one my second day in the living room. I'd only go again if they have mandatory pest control. It was utterly disgusting.
I spent $5,000 for 5 nights. That doesn't include the extra money I spent on 5 days worth of a golf cart and 2 beach chairs with 2 umbrellas. So not what I paid for. To make matters worse, I had my 6 month old in the house with us. Not very sanitary

Our stay in the Blue Heron was great! This was the first time staying at Cinnamon Shores and will be back again. The staff and community was beyond our expectations. Choosing a home to stay in was the most difficult of the whole process. The construction noise was minimal. The organization of the check in and checkout process was done with ease. The Sage Cart & beach chair rental was completely worth it. Bravo to the top notch staff!

Had a great time on our mini birthday vacation! So many places for the kiddos to run around safely (the last time we were here, they were toddlers), lots of games, pool time, and of course the property! The staff maintains a great location, with spaces cleaned and well stocked for our needs - and the options to ask for help when you're missing something! Can't wait to return.

We LOVED Cinnamon shore! This was our first trip, we rented a one bedroom condo since it was just us, a small family of 4. The condo was just enough space and was nice and clean. The golf cart rental and chair/umbrella rental are a must and make the trip so easy and enjoyable. Our week long stay was beautiful! The weather was wonderful and the beach was clear, it couldn't have been a better week. This community is geared for families with s'mores nights, movies on the lawn, games on the lawn and more. My only critique is the vampire mosquitos, they do spray the community, but you will

This place was amazing! My family usually takes an annual TX beach vacation to SPI but not anymore! Cinnamon Shore is going to be the tradition going forward. The condo we stayed off the Town Center was beautiful, modern and clean. The shops and restaurants are so convenient you never have to leave. Renting a beach golf cart is a must and makes your beach days hassle free. I can't wait to come back!

Our Fourth of July weekend was so much fun at Cinnamon Shore! It was our first time to visit and we hope to return each year to make it a family tradition. You'll read all of the fantastic reviews from others and see the details of the offerings on the website. There's a few enhancement ideas I'd like to offer here.
As a family traveling with young children our needs are slightly different than what is offered in terms of fun activities and entertainment. Many of the activities like live music, outdoor movies, or even eating at the nice restaurant on site happen in the evening

First time staying here, and it is top notch! We liked having everything at the resort. Could technically drive up, park, and not leave entire stay. From the beach cart rentals on site, the bottle shop for drinks and supplies, the market shop, and the fabulous Lisabella's and Dylan's...it was so great! We rented a one bedroom condo in One Town Center and it was close to the restaurants, the pools, and the boardwalk to the beach. The beach area is CLEAN! The staff is very friendly, very responsive to any requests. We will definitely come back. Wish we didn't have to leave! :)

We loved our first visit to Cinnamon Shore! Can't believe it took us this long to discover. One plus for covid! Easy drive from Austin. Large group of families from our school were all able to book houses for our week off and the kids had so much fun meeting up at the pools and beach. They set up a bonfire for us one night, which was so fun. We loved it so much we started looking for a house to build or buy in the community!

A couple years ago, my husband and I took our kids to stay in Port Aransas. Neither one of us had been there before, but I found a really cute place in Cinnamon Shore that looked really nice so I booked it. It was one of our favorite vacations to date.
While we were there, we were able to entertain the kids with a sand castle competition, ride on a golf cart on the beach, and watch a movie on the lawn in the community area. We left that weekend trip vowing to go back one day just the two of us.

Our family had a great time here, fortunately two weeks BEFORE hurricane Harvey hit! Our unit was fully furnished and then some. The amenities were first class! They had a sand castle building workshop, a smores cookout, a movie in the square on Friday night, all complimentary and close by.
It does have that new master planned community feel to it, where everything kind of looks the same, you know... This is not necessarily a bad thing but just keep it in mind if you're looking for something more casual or old school.
With that being said, we would definitely come back!

This condominium is the original rental building for the Cinnamon Shore development. There are only 3 floors here, but it's nice and quiet. You have easy access to Lisabella's, the Dune Pool, the lake, and it's a really short walk to get to the beach. If you want it all and not have to pay a premium for an entire home, the units at One Town Center at the way to go. The unit we stayed in was fully furnished, clean, and inviting. Each owner has put their own little touch into the units here, which is really great to see. This is the best value at Cinnamon Shore!
