I recently put my house up for sale as my wife and I wanted to move. We mentioned on the MLS (multiple listing service) that the sale of our home was contingent on my wife and I finding a new home. An offer was made and our initial agreement of sale had in it the additional terms that the sale is contingent upon the seller (us) finding suitable housing which I received after the buyers signed. The buyers realtor, Debbie Gardinier of Iron Valley Realty, did not have them initial the additional term and resign the contract after it was sent to me for my signature after the contingency was added.
