Probably the oldest real estate office in Berks County, Binkley Real Estate was started back in the 1930's by A. G. Binkley, Sr. A graduate of Wharton School of Business, Mr. Binkley Sr. had several businesses over the years. He ran a boating business, was a buyer and seller of rare coins and stamps, and had other interests as well, but his mainstay was always real estate.

Terrible service Craig Binkley is rude and predjudice. His secretary is also very rude and prejudice. The area they are located in is surrounded by people of color and you can tell they are disgusted by that. I suggest they move there location to a whiter area if they can’t stand the people. They have no idea what customer service is. I was hung up on and they do not even accommodate you when you need to fill out an application. They say figure it out literally!! They have great homes for rent but unfortunately it is owned by a prejudice and rude person and secretary

Husband went to see a house when returned they told him to return with additional information. When arrived the lady proceeded to say that there were 5 people that placed and application and we would be 6. That was not told to us when we looked at the place and the attitude with the message was not appreciated. Especially after doing run around a to get them everything they asked for.

It was my first time renting my own place in the beginning of 2019 and I strolled across their few available apartments which I ended up giving them a call to set up the appointment and everything was helpful and professional and still to this day if I have any issues with the apartment it is usually fixed in a matter of a day or two after I let them know

Absolutely terrible customer service. Called last Friday about a house for rent that was just posted 12 hours before I called, Nicole stated they were booked out, that they only book two days in advance. I needed a Friday, she said call back next Wednesday. Today is Wednesday called at 10am for Nicole to say, sorry were booked out until Monday. Call back tomorrow to schedule for Monday. So you mean to tell me, you couldn’t pencil me in for a date in advance? But your magically booked out for Friday already when you just opened today at 8:30? Please explain how that works? Terrible company.

My husband and I rented from Binkley Jr for almost 4 years. We got screwed over by the people who owned the home, NOT Binkley. We would call in our concerns or if something was wrong and they would never call Binkley back or try to resolve any of the issues. They consistently sent us the w/s/t bill MONTHS late and we had to pay late fees on top of it all. Binkley himself tried to help as much as possible. In my experience, if you pay on time and are respectful, you will get that in return. The fee for background checks is to ween out the people who aren't seriously considering buying/renting. It
