Falls City Community BikeWorks
Our shop has bikes, tools, parts, and volunteer bike experts who can teach you how to repair or upgrade your bike. Social Distancing rules are posted at the shop entrance and must be respected by all participants. Masks must be worn indoors at all times. Please join us to #LearnYourBike safely with the assistance of our helpful volunteer mechanics.

We provide the space, tools and expertise to any community member wishing to learn and practice bicycle maintenance. We channel the donation of refurbished bicycles (and related equipment and skills) to community members in need of reliable transportation.
Services
Join our community to gain access to great resources, community knowledge, and help us keep our shop doors open!. An open and welcoming community to share skills, knowledge, and experiences with bike-enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. The fee for Annual membership is $60/year. Membership can also be earned through 8 hours of general volunteering at the shop - this is our Sweat Equity option.
Drop-In Volunteers are always welcome during Open Shop hours - no sign up required! If you are interested to schedule a volunteer session, or have questions about volunteering, please Message Us on Facebook (first choice), or email us (as a last resort). Volunteers do not need bicycle mechanic experience to participate - all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to help.
FCCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on financial contributions from donors to keep its doors open. We welcome donations of bikes, parts, tools, and bike-related equipment. Our volunteers refurbish used bikes which we then either sell to raise funds for our organization, or donate to other non-profits and programs.
Alan rode all over the Metro area on various bikes that he'd restored at FCCB. He loved to post photos from memorable spots around town and added captions that were quintessentially Alan. We have organized Alan's photos & comments into folders and have named the collection: Alan's Town, a photographic bicycle tour of the greater Louisville area!

Super friendly, fun, helpful crew! They helped me break apart my axle and bearings, grease what needed greasing, and tune up the crank assembly. Now my bike glides along with ease! I'll be back many more times for help tuning my bike and to vollunteer my time.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Well, it will be my 2 cents! I had a problem with my bike's rear tire: three broken spokes and a flat...tired of spending tons at a bike shop, I decided to try to fix it myself - and I did it here with the help of the community. All the tools, parts, and assistance you'll need to DIY... Well worth the effort.

Wonderful non-profit that services and provides bicycles to the community. They have a great facility for repairs and a healthy selection of repaired bicycles to sell which funnels money back to the non-profit. They will even teach you to fix your own bike! Certainly an option to consider when looking into getting into bicycle riding or loomkong to improve your ride. Very friendly to newcomers!

This shop was a most delightful experience. Fella Nate greeted me soon as I walked in the door. Asked the purpose of my visit and seeing the singage I front of me, I informed him I I believe I needed to sign a waiver. Carrying in my bike (loose ends all over) I signed up for a years membership. There are a few options for payment. $60, 8 hrs of service there, and something else I think it was a hybrid of the two. $30/4hr
It was a pretty busy place in there tonight Wednesday 9/19/2018. Lots of folk tending to there cycles. men and women. The fellas were very helpful out here. I was completely clueless

What a positive experience! Dozens of bikes ready to buy at good prices, tools to fix up your existing bikes, friendly staff to help, tools galore, a fun workshop atmosphere. I even brought two of my boys and we worked on the bikes together and left with a repaired bike (we'd bought elsewhere) and a new bike all for $45. Move over Craig's List, FCCBW has you cornered. Thank you guys!
