Services
A tile is a manufactured piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, porcelain, stone, metal, or even glass. At Salvia Tile & Stone we strive to bring you high quality tile. Our tile will not only provide you with a beautiful tile for your home but also has a longer life and is more resistant to fading and staining.
Expect color variations, and use them to your advantage when approaching the layout of your slate tile. Use a type of mortar for slate tile that is conducive to your interior or exterior installation. Choose a appropriate slate tile flooring sealant.

Some varieties you might consider are high-gloss (which gives your slate tile a lustrous "wet look"), low sheen (which is reflective, but not as shiny as high-gloss), or no sheen, sometimes known as natural finish. The look that these finishes provide are down to taste, but (once again) it's a good idea to make sure that your sealant is suitable for slate tile.
Marble is a metamorphic limestone rock predominately consisting of fine to coarse grained, re-crystallized calcite and/or dolomite. In its purest form, marble is crystalline white calcite. Calcite marble occurs in many colors from the trace-amount impurities such as organic matater, chlorite, epidote, and minor amounts of land-derived clays, silts, and sands or they may already be stained with the iron in them.
Granite is an intrusive igneous rock composed of 25% - 35% quartz and over 50% potassium and sodium rich feldspars, with a common accessory mineral of less than 20%, usually muscovite, biotite, or hornblende. There is a broad spectrum of granite colors ranging from almost pure white to almost pure black.
Travertine is a sedimentary rock. It is a natural chemical precipitate of carbonate minerals; typically Aragonite, but often recrystallized to or primarily Calcite. Basically, calcium carbonate is deposited from the water of mineral springs or rivulets saturated with calcium bicarbonate. The spring water can either be hot, warm or cold.

Over 3 weeks since owner came by to measure and discuss a remodeling job. He said he would get us a quote within a few days. He said the same thing a week after he came by. Nothing. Crickets. If a contractor can't keep his word on the the first thing he says he will do, you'd be an idiot to sign a contract and give him a down payment.

I wanted to redo my kitchen and convert my guest bathroom tub to a stall shower. The owner Vince came to give me ideas and get what he needed to provide an estimate. He told me what would work and what wouldn't and made some very good and practical suggestions.
The estimate I received was significantly less than the largest well-known contractor in the area but I think the quality product and skilled workers were just as good. Inevitably when something didn't work out as planned, Kathi worked with us to make recommendations and find an alternative solution. Any follow-up that was required was done

I happened to stumble upon this company via Google when I was looking for tile companies near me. And I am happy I did. I found amazing bathroom boarders that are modern & well worth the price. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I am extremely happy that the tiles will be coming in a few days so my contractors can finish the job they started and had to delay because of locating the original tiles which we couldn’t find. But I’m happy we didn’t find them because I am extremely happy with my order. I highly recommend this company.

After getting two over the top quotes on tile work, and kitchen and bath remodeling, I came across Salvia Tile and Stone. Upon visiting their showroom, we were warmly welcomed by Jeff who is very knowledgeable in all aspects of tile and cabinetry. Jeff then arranged to visit our home to take measurements and get an idea first hand of the work we wanted done. Jeff spent quite a bit of time with us and promised a quick turn around on the quote. When we got it, the quote was very reasonable and in line with what we expected when we started the process. I worked through some questions with Vince

I shopped around for contractors to do a major remodel on my house. I have lived in my home for 25 years and remodeled it 14 years ago; so I know how difficult living in a house while a remodel is taking place can be. I chose Salvia Tile and Stone to do my remodel because Vince and his staff seemed to be the most genuine and "real" people I came across during my search for a contractor. They said I could stay in my house during the remodel and they would do whatever was necessary to make me and my family comfortable. Also, them came in with a very competitive price. My remodel consisted of my master

Everything perfect. I am from Germany and i had a short time window for the installation. So I made an appointment 1 month in advance. They came with 6 workers exactly on time an they did the whole job including cleaning in just 2 days. They wanted to start with the tiles at the opposit wall of the entrance. I told them that I do not want to have the tiles cut close to the entrance where you can see everything. At this point I want the whole tile and not small pieces. They said, it is not possible to cut at the wall, because there they cannot leave the room. I said I open the window and then you

I found Salvia on Yelp, so I want to add my own experience. I had been trying to get my kitchen updated and it was frustrating shopping around. Customer service seemed non existent at some places. I stopped in at Salvia without an appointment and was greeted warmly by Kathi. I found working with them very easy. Their prices were reasonable and they did a great job with granite countertops and backsplash tile. They went to extra trouble to make sure my choices for sink and faucet fit perfectly, even though I went a little overboard on sink size. They were in and out, cleaned up after themselves

Salvia Tile & Stone do amazing work! They refinished the master bathroom, guest bathroom, kitchen, and tiled the floor in our master bedroom in our condo on Marco Island. Vince had great ideas and was such a pleasure to work with. We looked at other contractors but none were as reasonable as Salvia Tile & Stone. I would highly recommend them to anyone in Southwest Florida. High quality work, superior customer service and reasonable prices!
