Dr. Miya grew up in nearby Montebello and spent many weekend nights "cruising" Whittier Boulevard or hanging out at the original "Quad" during his teenage years!. He received his bachelor's degree in Psychobiology at UCLA and went on to crosstown rival USC where he received his DDS degree. Dr. Miya loves to spend time with his family and enjoys fishing trips up to the Eastern Sierra.
Our goal is to provide the highest level of dental care possible and to demonstrate professionalism in every aspect of patient care. We will create a positive and relaxed environment for patients to feel comfortable and confident. We take pride in not only offering excellent dentistry but in serving our patients with integrity.
All phases of restorative dentistry including esthetic solutions for broken or missing teeth, discolored teeth, and decayed teeth. Our office also emphasizes the importance of good periodontal (gum) health with proper treatment planning and effective patient education.
Dr. Miya has many years of experience in implant dentistry and works with superb local oral surgeons and periodontists in creating a team approach with all his implant treatment cases.Dr. Miya and his highly trained staff maintain their pursuit of excellence through continuing education courses and Dr. Miya regularly participates in two study clubs.
