Visiting Mental Health (VMH) is a private psychotherapy firm that conducts Individual and Group Psychotherapy in Skilled Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Independent Living Facilities. We also evaluate patients requiring partial hospitalization, overall placement, Baker Acts, and provide comprehensive after-care counseling programs.

Services
Individual psychotherapy involves discussions between the patient and a mental health professional that may focus on current or past problems, experiences, thoughts and feelings. These difficulties may occur in relationships, activities of daily living, and in familial relationships.
In sharing experiences with a trained therapist, patients gradually come to understand more about themselves, their problems and as a result, develop an improved attitude toward self and others.Social Investigations (SI) - This assessment has replaced "custody evaluations" in many cases and may include psychological testing of family members.

MHC Florida in conjunction with Dr. Ann Monis PA is proud to present the Mental Health Center of Florida Pre-Doctoral Internship Program. By pairing interns with qualified mentors who will promote professional, meaningful, first-hand experience and knowledge in the field of psychological services with an array of populations, interns will become competent in providing psychotherapy services independently.
