MISSION STATEMENT: To provide quality, permanent and affordable housing opportunities to meet the needs of lower income or homeless people with disabilities who also have mental illness. VISION STATEMENT: "Build a compassionate community where all low-income people with mental illness have a permanent and safe home".
Broward Housing Solutions (BHS) is committed to providing affordable housing for all low-income or homeless people with disabilities who also have a diagnosed mental illness. To emerge effectively, persistent prejudice, discrimination, and antagonism must be dismantled and renovated to create a tapestry of success and better quality of life for all.
Joining our team at Broward Housing Solutions is so much more than just having a job, it means being part of a nonprofit agency that is community-focused on the serious, social issue: Homelessness among the mentally ill. This goal infuses all facets of what we do in Broward County. Team BHS is synonymous with a commitment to the well-being, awareness, and advocacy of the low-income folks of our community.
Broward Housing Solutions proudly collaborates with community mental health partners who helps us to help our residents with clinical supportive services that aid with their stabilization, recovery and reintegration, back into society so that they become contributing citizens of our community.

Broward Housing Solutions provides independent, permanent, and supportive housing to persons diagnosed with mental illness in rental apartment units across Broward County. Our federally funded program, Broward II offers independent, permanent, and affordable housing through third party landlords.
The federally funded Samaritan program, provides independent, permanent, and affordable housing within any of the 19 properties owned and operated by Broward Housing Solutions.Tenants are able to choose their housing through BHS-approved third party landlords.

I'm not happy ☺ here , they don't take time to hear 👂 you out; it's all about the donations they receive.... I'm tired of smelling 👃 weed from my vents when i wake ⏰ up in the morning, cigarettes smoke 🚬 get on my clothes, from people smoking in there apartments.... My neighbor always talking 👄 dirty to me, make you very uncomfortable, this supposed to be a safe environment????? Don't think soooo
