Compass High School is an innovative 9th - 12th grade program in the Bay Area that provides a multifaceted education for students with mild to moderate learning differences. Our students have a variety of learning profiles that may include dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning challenges.
While our experienced faculty and small class sizes provide needed support and accommodation for student challenges, we also take pride in helping to identify and cultivate our students' individual areas of strength. Our supportive, individualized approach not only includes a college preparatory program, but also offers students and their families integrated services and support.

Services
The most impactful part of Compass are the small classes and really being able to connect with the teachers. I feel comfortable making a mistake because my teacher's know it is a part of the learning process. It is very difficult to find a program for a child, who needs some extra help and support, a child, who is learning at a pace different from regular peers.
All of our special education teachers, faculty and staff are specialized to work with students with mild to moderate learning differences. They create customized curriculums according to each student's learning difficulties, and work on a personal basis with them to unlock their full potential. Their proven teaching methods have helped many our students go on to getting a college education.
The founders of Compass High School are committed to developing a new educational option that exemplifies excellence for students with learning differences The founding board members are actively recruiting a board of trustees with skills in finance, fundraising, management, and education. We are also seeking Advisory Board members to help steer Compass towards innovation and distinction.
