We offer monthly cosmetic seminar on our Day of Beauty for those who are curious about lasers, injectibles, fillers, microneedling with PRP, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and skincare. I had sun and age spots on my face that was making me look tired and 10 years older. Makeup just made my face look dirty.
I had tried over-the-counter remedies for years and nothing worked. I saved money to have a laser treatment done for my birthday ($5000) but when I went to see Dr. Khuu, he suggested a face care routine that did not include laser. I started to protest, stating that I had tried so many products and just wanted it taken care of once and for all.

I wish I could provide this office with less than one star. They messed up a billing issue for a year and have been totally unhelpful. They ignore me for weeks at a time and refuse to file paperwork correctly. This has resulted in a bill over $1000 that I shouldn't be responsible for. And the doctor would rush through every visit and overcharge for everything. Absolutely do not recommend!

If there is "0" point, I will offer it. It was a very bad experience as a new patient there. They will charge you extra $150 even you have a PPO plan with the only explanation as this is their own policy. They are more interested in your money than your medical condition. Find other places if you don't want to be looted.

This office staff is so unprofessional. First time I call to make an appointment, but no one there so I left the message. Next day , his staff called back (Chinese lady?)) told me that she can't verify my insurance now so she said she has to call me back again .... But she did never call me back as said.
So 3 weeks later I started to call the office again and I mentioned that I've checked my insurance network and DR. Khuu's name came up so I call to make an appointment again. So after I left the message for an appointment, and they never returned my call.

Waited over 45 minutes before ever being seen for my consultation - and then only by an assistant - let alone Dr Khuu. Ridiculous and beyond unprofessional. After an hour I left. They must not want any new patients. The receptionist didn’t look all that surprised as I passed her and told why I was out the door - I’m sure she’s seen this before. Never saw the Dr. He never deigned to make an appearance nor even pop his head in to make apologies nor ask forgiveness. And, now they want respect?? Laughable. Avoid this practice unless you have time to waste and money to burn.

My mother had been going to this guy for a while. My dad too. My dad got sick of his fast manner and no attention and found a better doctor. Now my mom tells me she needs to have Mohs surgery!! She had a biopsy in November and results are positive for squamous cell carcinoma. They told her this today, January 22. When I asked why they waited so long, they told me she canceled her appt. for December. So what?? Why would they wait 2 months for tell her it's cancer?? And why on earth would you have to have to Mohs surgery on your neck?? Do not give this clown any business!!!! Look elsewhere!

They made me wait for an hour of my scheduled appointment. Staff is extremely unprofessional and did not remember to give me anything, not until I asked. They made me come in to see the result of biopsy and did not prepare to do the new test (they realize they did not have it in inventory )and ask me to come in another day. They did not give me any printed version of prescription and made me wait to write one for me.

I've seen Dr. Khuu 5 times, so I think I'm being rational about this review. I wish I had more closely followed the advice of all the other 1-star reviews on this yelp page.
In truth, out of the 5 times I've seen him, he's only spent a cumulative total of 10 minutes with me; averaging 2 minutes per appointment. He'll walk in, shout something at the nurse/intern, then walk out. The first time it happened I wondered if he's coming back, but nope... The other times I had my questions prepared, but he seemed annoyed that I wasn't a walking medical encyclopedia.

All the bad reviews about this doctor are so true! He's interested in billing the insurance than fixing your problem. My mom's PCP referred her to this doctor because he's in her insurance network and close to where she lives. My mom had skin cancer on her face and had Mohs surgery done at his Mountain View location. The surgery never healed properly. 7 months later, I took my mom to the Menkes Clinic in Mountain View. Dr. Menkes did another biopsy and said my mom still has cancer on the same spot. Apparently, Khuu Dermatology didn't do a thorough job cutting out the cancer

I can't speak for the other treatments but for teen acne, Dr Khuu is the only local doctor that has worked for us. We have 3 teen boys with explosive acne. You have to hustle with acne like this because it will scar, and Khuu hustles. Top doctors at clinics like Menlo Medical do not hustle - it is hard to get follow-up appointments sometimes for months and treatments that don't work are not updated while side effects mount. With Khuu we have stopped acne spread, reduced acne recurrence, diminished existing acne, have helped our boys develop better hygiene habits, and have undergone

Horrible Clinic, Staff and DOCTOR!!! Would not recommend to anyone!!
First time seeing Dr. Khuu. Don't even want to mention about their messed up schedule and the long wait. We arrived there half hour before our appointment and he didn't see us until 20 minutes passed our appointment time. After he finished with his previous patients in the next room, he came in to our room without knocking and introducing himself. Then he barely used 1 minute (literally!!) to explain what he thought it was after a 30 second examination. Then he started taking an injection out from his

We were referred to this doctor by my grandmas PCP for two cysts she had on her arm. Dr Khuu came in for a maximum of 5 minutes, diagnosed her with ganglion cyst, and quickly told his assistant to schedule surgery. My grandma is 91 years old! He didn't even ask us or give any options or explanations. My grandma also has age/sun spots on her arm, and again without asking permission, he quickly took out the nitrogen oxide and froze one of them, when my grandma winced in pain not even knowing what was going on, he stopped and said I'll do the rest next time. Horrible doctor - would not recommend anyone !!!
He barely saw me for 3 mins and very hastily wrote and gave me clindamycin cream for the face. I put one pea sized doze on my face this morning and had severe itching sensation shortly after. Later it got worse and my entire face got swollen with major redness and itchyness.
I had to go to the ER and they confirmed it was the cream that this doctor recommended that led to this reaction.
Now here I am on 5 days of steroids to fix an issue I never had and paying 250$ for emergency.
All due to negligence from Dr. Khuu
Please avoid at all costs

If I could I would post 0 stars this office is a rip-off. I decided to go in with my dad after he had been coming for months because every time he went in the doctor seemed to find something new. I won't go in detail but will say this dermatologist is a total fraud. He treats things so he can bill for more when nothing is wrong with you. Also appointments are delayed for hours he has 2 locations one in Mountain View and one in San Jose. His front desk guy is also one of the rudest people I have ever met.

I spent more than $35 to reach Dr office just to hear that he can not see my daughter even though we reach on scheduled time. If they are not able to see scheduled patient then tell them at the time they book visit. Very disappointed by the service. Never go there and waste your

Khuu's office has kind staff, but I get the feeling he's more into the business side (i.e., selling procedures) than a patient's health. I had a concern with a mole and have a long history of basal cell carcinoma beginning in my late teens. I've seen several dermatologists because I've moved a bunch. I also personally have studied skin cancers and feel I have a good understanding. Though I know that book smarts and experience differ, none of the doctors I've seen in the past have been so aggressive in wanting to remove so many "questionable" moles. It felt up-sold. He also noticed a small scar

I've been to several dermatology and plastic surgery offices. Dr. Duke Khuu is by far the best. Very caring, doesn't judge, and takes his time explaining and answering questions. He doesn't rush out of the room. He's very gentle too; I didn't feel the needle on my face and his fees are reasonable. High Five and Five Stars!!!!

Dr. Khuu's front desk staff really makes his business look bad. They have terrible, inconsiderate, unfriendly attitudes. I have a deep scar on my leg which has been there for years so I went to Khuu. His treatment caused infection in that area. It has been more than a week and I'm still trying to recover.
Khuu also likes to market their pricey skin products (only available at Khuu). I didn't buy/try any of them, so I can't say whether they work or not. When I looked at the products, there are no description at all, things like ingredient, usage, warning. I'm not sure I can trust products like that.
I really hoped I had read the reviews first. I don't even bother to go back to ask them to

Wish I could have given 0 ! I booked an appointment with Khuu with Zocdoc. I wish I had read yelp review before.
I had an appointment at 9:00. But I had to wait for 20mins even though I had completed the paperwork online.
I had a small allergic reaction around my tattoo. Khuu wrongly diagnosed the allergy and also, he was just there for 30-45sec. Not even a minute! He didn't even see my rash properly. Khuu said that its not allergy and just prescribed a topical ointment. I asked him if I should take antihistamine as the rash was spreading. But the assistant told me not to take anything

So, I found this place through my insurance provider. I did not check yelp prior to going; big mistake...
I had a small rash on my eyelid and went in. I filled out paperwork, paid my $20 copayment and waited. The doctor said it was an allergic reaction and prescribed some ointment, which worked (hence the two stars). He said they could do a patch test to figure out what I'm allergic to and I was intrigued so I went ahead and booked it. It's a week long process; three separate visits. I go in for my first patch test appointment. I pay my $20 copayment and am told I owe about $100 from

I went to Khuu Dermatology about a medical procedure. Before checking on the issue I had come for, the Dr. announced that I had a skin condition and started rattling off all the things I shouldn't do. He didn't ask me if I do any of the things he told me to stop doing. Just presumed I'm a dope and don't know how to take care of myself. Typical arrogant Dr. Also prescribed me something I didn't ask for, don't want and won't use. And he recommended a treatment for me that is not covered by insurance.
But, worse, before he actually even looked at the skin issue
