To make serious change, you need serious tools - like knowledge and support from a personal trainer who's maintained a 150 pound weight loss for over a decade, built an exercise habit from nothing, and cracked the code on how to make positive, sustainable change against all odds. I started dieting at the age of 5.
By 18, I'd "dieted" my way to morbid obesity, pain, and a chronic sense that nothing I did to try to change would matter. Armed with the truth and the proper tools, I naturally arrived at the comfortable, healthy weight that I've maintained for over a decade. I've helped thousands of women like me address the root cause of self-harm and self-sabotage so they, too, can live comfortably and authentically in bodies and lives they love.

I'm Coffey - a certified personal trainer and coach who's recovered from all kinds of addiction, compulsion, and self-sabotage. I've been out of control with everything, but first with food. I've maintained massive weight loss (I'm a size 6/8, down from a size 26/28) for over a decade without losing my personality.

I wasn't entirely certain how or that virtual training would would actually work, but two weeks in, this is by far the best part of my week. I've known Kelly Coffey for a while now in various contexts. Her Pleasure Principles online course is a phenomenal and fast way to eradicate the impacts of shame from your life, and just an all around great resource. She's the same as a trainer as she is in every other way that I've encountered her: Brilliant. Creative. Caring. Real. Funny. Effective. Whatever your level of excellence or shortcoming- in fitness or in life - you can show

You know that strong, amazing, woman who stands beside you and holds your hand as you learn to love what you see in the mirror? The one that softly steps a little closer as you close your eyes. The one that stands a little straighter when you hold your breath. The one who nudges you and reassures you because she knows. Yea, that's Kelly Coffey.

If, like me, you're a woman who has struggled against her body and had a love-hate relationship with food virtually all her life, having yo-yo'd with both your habits and your weight more times than you can remember, Kelly is speaking to us. Don't let the "froo-froo" language (how do you spell that?) of "self-care and compassion" fool you; Kelly is both straightforward and direct in her delivery, making what can seem difficult to grasp both clear AND practical. There is no disputing that the Principles she outlines are on the mark for what most of us need, and

I have been following Kelly Coffey's Pleasure Principles online for about 3 weeks. In that short period of time this program has made a significant impact on my life. For the first time ever I heard how shame works to sabotage our best intentions. This made me sit up and take notice. As I got deeper into the videos I related to pretty much everything that Kelly had to say. She actually provides a cognitive process to go through when you find yourself in that space in time between wanting to "stay on your diet" and then eating a __________ (fill in the blank with something that

I've been following the Pleasure Principles online course for about a month now, and I can honestly say that I think it's changed my life. I trusted Kelly right away because there are very few people who successfully maintain significant weight loss long-term, so obviously she's doing something that works, but I was immediately drawn to her warmth and straightforwardness, and I still find myself nodding vigorously through pretty much everything she writes. I've done my fair share of nutrition programs, and this one (which isn't even a nutrition program) really made me sit

I've never met Kelly Coffey, but I feel as if I know her. I took her Pleasure Principles course and joined The Klatch, her on-line community. Her guidance around self-care and making healthy choices is straightforward, empowering, and uplifting. She has helped me to discard the typical diet and exercise strategies that dominate the media and substitute them with a simple, common sense, but somehow radical approach based on self-compassion and self-awareness. She's a nutritionist and personal trainer with a history of addiction and obesity, so she understands the allure/temptations

Kelly Coffey's Pleasure Principles is the most straightforward, introspective, and useful course I have ever seen. And I've seen a lot over the past 30 years. As much as I thought I had it together, I had never dealt with my personal demons, chief among them SHAME. Shame caused me to stop putting myself first, to stop paying attention to my body's needs, to stop caring regardless of how I felt. Once I realized that there is nothing wrong with me, I was able to play the PART consistently in my life. It became easy once I stopped fighting it and learned to care for myself and experience

I wish I lived closer to Kelly (across the country makes physical support in terms of training a non option) BUT... I work with Kelly via her online tools of just about every cool offering you could imagine! Emails of value and insight, facebook posts with relatable material, her web courses which are phenomenal, her online group (available via sign up after her Pleasure Principals course) and more... she's the most devoted person I've come across in this "wellness world" realm and the most real. It was her honest, brave and outright funny blog that had me seek her out. I&apos

I've been training with Kelly for a couple of months now and I just have to say--YES! She knows just how to motivate me to push myself without overdoing it. I have indeed noticed results in how I feel in my body already, and I have noticed an improvement in mood and attitude as well. However, the best thing about working out with Kelly isn't the exercise, it's Kelly herself. She's positive but not saccharine. She's real without being a bummer. She's funny and personable and makes the hateful act of waking up at 5:45 to work out something I actually kinda look

Working with Kelly is the best thing I've done for myself in years. Kelly makes me believe that my goals are indeed possible and WILL happen. My sessions with her are fun and rewarding -- I actually enjoy working out -- me! Kelly is fun, spunky, understanding, down to earth and she knows her stuff-- she's been there and knows what I'm going through. Follow her blog and find her on Facebook too!
