Services
Central Tire is a family-owned business. It was founded in 1939 by the Therrien family, which operates a retail store under the Carmerica franchise and a wholesale division in Sanford, Maine. Our retail store specializes in tires and undercar service. We provide alignments, brake service, lube oil and filter changes, chassis parts, exhaust repair, belts, hoses, and minor tune-ups.
Central Tire is a Certified ITRA Retreader and offer free pickup and delivery within our Hercules territory: Maine, New Hampshire, and Eastern Massachusetts. In 2007 Central Tire opened the doors to our new Retreading Plant located in South Sanford. With over 24,000 square feet this building has more than doubled our capacity with room for future growth.
With an emphasis on quality service, Central Tire is Maine's leading tire company for the commercial industry. We provide a complete suite of services throughout Southern and Central Maine and Seacoast New Hampshire. All tire companys were extremely busy so I tried this place out.
I have never been there before but I will go back. As they did the tire change over in 1/2 the time of the other places. When you have to sit and wait it's good to get it done quickly.
Also these guys are not kids changing your tires. I am pleased.
