The front desk lady was really nice, but the room was pretty worn. Broken outlet covers, door deadbolt wouldn't latch, not enough parking to park near your room. Overall, it was a place to sleep and it did the job.

Dude & Round Up Motel
Stayed during our road trip to Yellowstones National Park on July 2021. The motel location was perfect though. It was 2 minutes away from West Yellowstones Entrance. Also, walking distance to groceries or restaurants. And 2 or 3 blocks away from gas station which was very convenient for me. We stayed in for 3 nights. Staffs were friendly.
The room was spacious. Has table for eating. Bathroom was clean. Bedsheets clean. Atleast, I am happy with the clean bed to sleep in while staying in the motel. Safe motel.
The Motel is in okay condition. Need upgrade very outdated. The

I would give this motel a no star rating if I could.

this place is crap! Very, very dated, torn up lamp shade, the beds were absolutely the cheapest I have ever slept on, the sheets were itchy and the towels were rough and thin.

There were two amenities 1) a tv which was so small you had to sit on the end of the bed to see it and 2) a coffee pot that didn't work. no fridge, no microwave and no breakfast - but I was offered a 10% off coupon to a breakfast at another motel (probably owned both) so we went there but it was awful too.

Do not waste your money here.

Minimal room, but very clean. Excellent hot shower pressure! Great staff. Perfect location, a minute from Yellowstone National Park.
Great downtown community filled with normal tourist shops and great food!

Ended up forced to pay for a room I didn't use. I only needed one night close to the airport, spoke to the front desk and gave them my information then asked if I could check in early for a morning shower and shave. Nope, to late we have your info and your locked in, no cancelation. $200.00 for the mistake of unintentionally reserving a room before trying to cancel within 30 mins. Total mouth breather front desk and phone staff.

We had a room with 2 queen beds. The bedroom is spacious. Could be cleaner -- the carpet felt worn, so did bed sheets and covers. Bathroom seems to be recently renovated, though, so that's nice, modern and very functional. It too could've been a bit cleaner, though -- saw hair stubble from previous occupant lining the wash basin, kinda gross.
My biggest gripe was lack of free wifi as was advertised. Apparently, some storm two weeks ago knocked it out. Hard to believe that as an excuse in the 3rd decade of the 21st century! And the TV only played one channel -- go figure!

Our room was on the second floor of the Roundup. Furniture and decor could definitely use updating. But the room was CLEAN🙂 And the desk clerk was great!

Worst beds ever, like sleeping on the floor they were so hard. Check in was easy but for the prices all the hotels are charging they should all be a lot better. So definitely a 1 star hotel for sure.

This hotel needs help. The beds were clean but not the room. Trash behind bed table which was found when I had to plug in the lights. Outlet cover was broken with a large hole in it. Faucets are very hard to regulate and if not careful you can get burned. No refrigerator or internet even though they tell you to call tech and when tech says maintenance needs to reset the modem, the man at the desk says he can't guarantee when or if maintenance will come. To get ice you must go to neighboring property. Early check out is a mystery. People were wandering around try to find someone who could

Very pricey for what you get. Room was "clean" but had stains. Little parking available, not enough for all the guests. No microwave, refrigerator, or safe in the rooms. There are old style TVs (not flat screen) in the rooms, but with very, very limited channel selection. Room a/c was very old and had a hard time keeping up with the outside temperature. The 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door didn't help. Wifi doesn't work. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. Overall, if your looking for a bare bones place to stay, and there's nothing else available, this place will do. I'd like to say you

$200/night for a substandard motel. I know we were paying for the location (Yellowstone) and definitely not the amenities. The room was clean, other than a few spots on the dingy carpet floor. The bathroom fixtures were fairly new and water pressure in the shower was good. The TV was a newer flat-screen, however, the satellite service left much to be desired. The reception was good but very few channels were allowed under their subscription service. Okay, okay - we weren't there to watch TV, but it's something of note. The toilet water pressure left much to be desired as well and we needed to request

Basic simple hotel, I feel like it was way over priced but I know it's because it was in West Yellowstone and super close to park gate. Check In was smooth and clerk was personable and knowledgeable. Room was clean except for stained carpets. A/C worked great and faucets had very good water pressure. Bed was on cheap/hard side but, we slept so it must not have been to bad. Dead bolt was bent, like someone had tried to kick in door, so it was a little hard to work. No fridge or micro, they did supply coffee with maker in room. Parking is a first come, first serve; because we were in the park til

Honestly, I don't understand the poor reviews for this motel. Hotel staff is friendly and does a maid service for the room daily. Worth the value seeing as you'll be spending 8 to 9 hours a night sleeping and the rest of the time you are exploring Yellowstone or the nearby area. The main area of this town is a 30 second walk down the street. You're in a good area and the price is worth it!

AWFUL! This dump cost more than $150/night and it was one of the worst hotels you can imagine. The pictures are not representative of this place. The carpet was stained with oil and dirt. I don't think this place has ever seen any cleaning device. Gross and dirty.

My parents stayed at your motel last weekend . I am finding out of the horrific incident that happened at your motel. You took advantage of them not able to speak English and the fact that they are also elderly which I'll note my mother is disabled. To claim that you are not liable for anything that happens at your motel is a total disgrace. My mother sat in one of your chairs and it broke (perhaps it was already broken and you did not bother to change it?)which caused her to bang the back of her head. Then when my father approached you the best your staff did was say " you may feel free

Stayed 07/03/2018. The room was clean and well-maintained. There are no elevators, and the ice machine is located in the parking lot of the Roundup Motel. Beds were comfortable. Locks are mechanical.

Special thanks are given for holding the rooms late; my group was delayed by bison, so we didn't get in until 2130.

The motel is very old and it smelled bad. Noisy! Very expensive. We were not on a tour bus and the price was awfully high. Would never recommend this motel. We did not know what day we would be in at this entrance to Yellowstone, so we had to take what we could get for a room the day before we got there. Really sad that they can charge so much for a terrible room.

My family and I decided to go on a Bus Tour to Yellow Stone National Park. The first hotel we went to was a not so pleasant experience. Based on the experience in that last hotel, I expected all motels to be just like it. To my surprise, this motel was pretty decent.
* Our beds did not have any bed bugs.
* The sheets were clean, no hair, no nothing.
* The showers were clean and well kept.
* Well stocked with coffee, towels, shampoo, soap, etc. We didn't need to ask for anything from the front desk.
* The floors may need to be replaced as there were stains in a few places.

I was taken to this Motel as part of a group tour. This motel was the worst one on our tour by a mile. No fridge. No iron. No breakfast. And you can get some wifi if you press your body to the outside wall of the main office. The people at the front desk barely speak and understand English. The rooms were very dusty, to the point that I was sneezing constantly, even though I don't have any allergies. Some people in our group had to keep the door open because they could not bear the smell in the room. And overall, the whole room looked extremely run down.

We stayed here for one night during our trip to Yellowstone park. It's very close to the west gate. Our tour company picked this place and I would assume that it was cheap. Our room was clean but the bedding wasn't comfortable. There's also no hairdryer. We couldn't access the free Wifi from our room and I had to walk out to the parking lot in order to get even the weakest signal such that I could check the weather forecast. Anything else requiring greater speed was a pain. On the positive side, it was an easy walk to the shops along the busy road.

BIG ZERO! horrible stay here with a tour group. Watch out for dirty top bedding & curtains! You will be itchy once you touch them.

Also we had left a bag of brand new Victoria Secrets panty and when we called the motel to ask, front desk reported they had "thrown" the bag away?!?!? Really honest....

Is zero star possible? This place deserves that.
Our tour group stayed at this motel after a day's visit to Yellowstone. What a disaster!
1. Walked in our room and the first thing we saw was a large stain on the carpet.
2. Tried to adjust the curtain to close off the window from outside view, and the curtain was falling apart. Finally managed to somehow close it off, but the whole thing was crooked.
3. Shower curtain was way too long - one practically stepped on the curtain while showering.
4. Base board in bathroom was all rotted.
5. This is big - we got up early the next morning as our

If I could give this place a zero star I would. I've traveled in European hostels and all over southeast asia and have never been in a hotel I felt more uncomfortable in. We were credit card camping in Yellowstone (since all the real campgrounds were full) and this was the most expensive and grossest place we stayed in. I didn't even dare talking off my shoes to walk around, and three out of four of us slept in our sleeping bags on top of the beds.

To build my case:
1) We walked in after dark and the light switch didn't work, I stumbled to turn the lmp on and it didn't work
