Bike the Greenway provides bike rentals on Nashville's beautiful greenway system. As a mobile bike rental service, we operate from a customized trailer that pulls in and out of the trailhead we are operating from. Services
Bike the Greenway uses the Giant Cypress DX bike which provides a lightweight aluminum frame to give you a comfortable, upright ride for maximum efficiency and control. It also comes with a bike case with a clear pocket that fits iPhone, Android and most smartphone devices for visibility and operation.
There are two distinctly different paved bike trails accessible from our location, which provide the level of outdoor adventure you are seeking. Here is a map of Stones River. This 4-mile paved bike trail is a mostly flat, easily traversed terrain that winds through a lush green parkway into Shelby Park in East Nashville.

We had a great experience with Bike the greenway. We recently moved to Nashville and don't have bikes of our own. Renting was a great way to get outdoors and get some exercise on a Saturday. Steve made everything extremely easy, give us multiple route options, and provided maps for the area. We road 8+ miles and loved the view from the pedestrian bridge! Would recommend renting bikes from here for locals and tourists.

We are a family of five and I highly recommend Steve and his bike rental company, Bike the Greenway. The weather was forecasted for rain so Steve communicated with me prior to our ride but thankfully the weather cleared up and it ended up to be a gorgeous day. Shelby Park is a beautiful scenic park and an easy to moderate ride. The bikes seem new and in excellent condition, even my husband who finds riding uncomfortable, was comfortable.

The experience was exactly what we were looking for! Signing up was quick, The owner was very easy to reach, he showed a genuine interest in our experience, and made sure we had everything we needed to stay safe and have a fun day! The bikes were in great condition and easy to use. He took time to match us with bikes that fit our size and preference. Would recommend to anyone!

Steve provided us with great trail bikes completely equipped for all your stuff and water and helmets. He also showed us various trail options and helped us choose the right one for us. We did a 14+ miles ride from Two Rivers Pkwy. into town and just over the pedestrian bridge. It was a beautiful wooded and shaded ride all the way. We hardly even noticed that it was a hot day. We will return whenever we go to Nashville.l

If you want to see a different side of Nashville, I highly recommend biking the greenway. The ride was pleasant, and Steve provided some excellent input on places to go and things to see. A 3-4 hour round trip is all you need to travel through some lush woods into downtown and have a leisurely lunch. Renting from Steve provided a nice, active way to explore the city.

When visiting Nashville, I had my heart set on seeing the green, natural setting everyone raves about and doing something a little more active and outdoors than just walking the streets of downtown (not that downtown isn't an awesome experience in itself). Surprisingly, I had a hard time finding "adventure" tours in the city. The spelunking, hiking, zip-lining and kayaking I found were all at least an hour or more away and the cost of transport to get there was prohibitive to say the least. When I went to the concierge looking for suggestions, they recommended "Bike the Greenway

I signed up for the half day rental and the experience was great. Transportation was arranged for me to get from my hotel and back to / from the rental location which was very convenient. The bikes were new and in good condition / working order. I was offered a helmet and bike lock. The greenbelt system in Nashville is excellent. I rode from the rental location to downtown and back with ease making a stop in five points which was a neat area as well.

Went this past weekend, I believe it was their opening weekend. It was GREAT! Their bikes are really nice and extremely comfortable. I'm not an avid biker so I was concerned about being comfortable...I quickly realized that wouldn't be an issue. When we arrived the owner (Steve?) was there to greet us and helped us get started & feeling confident on the bike. Once on our way...we ended up liking it so much we biked to downtown Nashville! Took us less than 20 minutes! Such a blast on a beautiful Nashville day. Highly recommend this company. We will be back!
