Services
We started out as Green Fleet Messengers, a bicycle courier service. The slogan was "send a bike replace a car." This picture was from 2010, when our friends at Walk Bike Nashville asked to deliver a document to Mayor Karl Dean about Nashville being declared a Bicycle Friendly City. We rented a small garage in Edgehill Village and started offering guided bicycle tours of Nashville.

Rented 2 bikes from Green Fleet. Bikes were wonderful (my partner has now found her perfect bike!) but the team at Green Fleet was even better. Super friendly, got us all set up, and helped us plan our route.
We were all over Nashville and East Nashville. Great trails and great breweries!!

I had a great experience here! I recently purchased a stationary bike and shoes, but I was having such a hard time getting the clips into the shoes so I gave Green Fleet a call to see if they could help out! They told me to come on over so I went over with my shoes and I was in and out of there within 10 mins, clips on! They were super helpful, no questions asked, very willing to help me get up and running. 10/10 recommend!

What a BUMMER!!! On a beautiful day to ride bikes with the kids I realized I had a flat tire. Thankfully, I was able to get my tire fixed, my son's brakes adjusted and we were back in business! I can't say enough about the care, concern and friendliness shown by the staff! (Especially Austin) We enjoyed the sun, rain and the short 4 mile ride thanks to Green Fleet! ****the one in the middle isn't too excited about the bike ride***** 😂😂😂

What a great company and tour. We had no idea what to expect, and any expectations we did have were blown away... above and beyond! Bikes were nice and well maintained. They offered helmets but did not require them. (Our group opted for them and we were glad we did just to be safe!) The route was interesting and took us through areas we would not have otherwise seen. The commentary was very educational, with a great mix of entertainment, history, music, culture, and touristic info. Our female guide was great!

I rented a bike from here to take out on my own during a trip to Nashville. I'm an advanced cyclist, and brought my clip-in shoes from home, and they hooked me up with a really awesome bike and even swapped out the clips for ones that worked with my shoes. I was in and out in about 10 minutes for the pick-up and the drop-off was even easier. The staff were so nice and helpful and really good with helping me find a local route. And there's a shop dog so if I could give more stars, I would.

What a great tour! Chris, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable and really helpful with recommendations for interesting restaurants. We are not big bicyclists but managed the hill pretty well on our bikes. We saw the Capitol, the Centennial and Bicentennial parks and the major features of downtown NShville.
We had a wonderful time. And Chris was super patient helping this boomer set up Uber to get back to the hotel.

Great way to see Nashville! The tour covered lots of great sights and stops. The staff was fun and knowledgable. I was pleased with my bike and that they had helmets to borrow. It was the perfect pace for pretty much everyone in our group (various riding levels). This is the absolute best way to get your bearings and plan what you want to see and do with your time here. Loved that we started our Nashville trip with the tour.

Green Fleet is my local bike shop and I can't sing their praises enough. I took a 20 year hiatus from biking from childhood to adulthood. In 2017, I wandered into the shop after talking with neighbors who had a great experience buying bikes at GF. After excellent and knowledgeable customer service I was the proud owner of a new bike (a Jamis Coda).
I also joined the Wednesday night Slow Rides which meet at Green Fleet from Spring to Fall where I've met a diverse swath of Nashvillians of all ages and riding ability.

Did the 2.5 hour bike tour. Chris was our guide and gave us a great tour.
It was pretty much a private tour as it was just our group of 4 on the tour that day.
He was very knowledgeable about Tennessee/Nashville history. Not only did we enjoy biking around, we also learned a lot!
My sister and I have traveled quite a bit and have done some pretty cool bike tours in places like Bali and Cuba. This was not on that level, but still quite enjoyable.
I recommend doing the tour if you've never been to Nashville.

Green Fleet Bike Shop is great. I rented a bike from there and also took a tour in consecutive days. They have a great selection of bikes.
The staff is great, super friendly, and professional. The place has a great vibe.
The tour guide, Drew, was excellent and a really knowledgeable guy...he was a very smart guy, loaded with info about Nashville, and tailored the tour according to what I wanted to explore. Nashville is a great city to bike around in...you really get an appreciation for this historic and rapidly changing city while riding around on a bike.
They also have a mascot dog in

Seriously just great people. We went on a 90-minute bike tour that was more like 2 hours and we definitely feel like we got our money's worth. Our tour guide Andrew was great and knowledgeable about Nashville and the shop owner Austin was great as well. This is a laid-back family atmosphere where the owners truly care about you having a great experience.
Not to mention that we accidentally booked a tour for the wrong day, but they were great about it and even offered us beer after the ride as well as a great lunch recommendation.

Let me start by saying that I do not own a bicycle. As an added note, I did not learn to ride a bicycle until I was probably 10 years old. Thankfully, I am able to stay upright and pedal and the same time, but that's about as good as I get. That being said, anyone with my level of bike expertise or greater can enjoy this bike tour!
