The Firehouse was built in 1927 and was active until 1998. One of five bungalow style firehouse in Wisconsin (so truly one of a kind!) This firehouse was considered "Old Engine House No. 35 & Ladder Co. 16" and now named Story Hill FireHouse. Janelle brought new life to the Firehouse by opening the walls and adding modern touches to compliment the historic elements.

She has designed the building to be a unique event venue option that will make your event ONE OF A KIND! Amy has had a career in the hospitality business for over 20+ years, working along side some of the most amazing people in the Milwaukee area business's!

I attended a local makers market on a summer Sunday. The venue is adorable plus there was a cash bar serving libations for a hipster-y type of Sunday Funday. Follow them on social media & be on the lookout for special events.

The concept of this venue is cute and the renovations are beautiful. This place is great for a very small wedding or event. I attended a fairly large wedding held here recently and there was nowhere near enough room for everyone. The website states it can accommodate 250 guests…I’d say it should be more like 75-100 tops. Staff was also not very friendly from my perspective (and my perspective was quite sober). They just seemed annoyed…which I can understand to a certain degree because everyone is drinking. However this was a Wisconsin wedding…almost everyone drinks 🤷🏼‍♀️ All

Very cute inside and detailed walls. Visited for music night on Thursday, band was nice. People were widely spaced apart due to COVID, and it felt more COVID safe than most places.

Such a beautiful space! Been there multiple times for the maker markets they hold throughout the year, and I am always amazed at just how beautiful the whole place is. Easy access lot, wonderful and helpful employees, right in a great area of town. I wouldn't hesitate to book an event here!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at this beautiful venue! We significantly downsized our wedding due to covid to be a more intimate day with just a handful of close friends and family. Because of this, we wanted a venue that would better serve this need. When we reached out to Story Hill Firehouse just a month before our big day they were immediately responsive and excited to work with us! From our first tour to the end of the process, Amy was an absolute gem to work with. She is kind, encouraging, and helpful to the max, making recommendations for us and being present to help the whole day

Amazing event venue! Had our wedding here and it's the best decision we made. Janelle and her team were wonderful to work with and their day of coordination allowed me to enjoy my wedding without a single worry. 12/10 recommend ❤❤❤
