Fondly remembered by many as "The Quilted Bear", the property was taken under new ownership in 2013 and re-established as The Florian in 2014. It brings us great joy to have had many brides & grooms over the years whose parent's or grandparent's hosted their weddings at our location when it was The Quilted Bear.

We can't say enough about how great Florian was for our wedding day, particularly Danielle & Stephanie. We had the privilege to with with both of them, and they were excellent. Very speedy in their replies, flexible with our desires, giving us options, completely transparent, and friendly in all our interactions.

I was impressed with the ambience, the room setup, and the service staff. The food areas were set in four different parts of the room allowing the guests to walk from one to another throughout the evening. The food was very delicious and plentiful. When talking to those that attended, they had an enjoyable evening. If you're planning a future event please check out this unique venue on the west edge of Germantown Wisconsin.

Got married here is September. What a beautiful place! And all the staff is really on top of it! Danielle really made our day so easy and enjoyable. She really went above and beyond!! She even communicated with our dj and kept everything everything on track.

We recently held my son's wedding at the Florian and could not have been more impressed with the facility, the personnel, the food, and the entire experience was outstanding. To begin, the event staff makes wedding planning so easy and they remove so much stress from the whole process by hosting 2 annual wedding fairs where you are able to sample all of their food offerings, meet with various wedding vendors including photographers, videographers, DJs, bakers and cake makers, everyone you may want to talk to about that special day.

My husband and I had our wedding here on August 7th, 2021. It was absolutely amazing. The only thing that went wrong (and you can't even consider this wrong) was having to move the ceremony inside because of the rain. Stephanie was our event coordinator and she was fantastic. She let us decide last minute what we were doing about the ceremony so that was so nice trying to let us milk the rain out, unfortunately that didn't work but everything turned out just as wonderful inside. We work at Florian often as wedding service providers and this one of our favorite places. Stephanie and Danielle are top notch coordinators, which makes for an always smooth evening. We also know to expect a delicious meal from their excellent kitchen. Highly recommend for couples seeking an elegant classic ballroom!!

My husband and I got married June 26th and would highly recommend our reception space to others. They managed our 300 guest count professionally and smoothly. We had nothing but positive remarks about our plated dinner (both service and food). Their outdoor pond, patio, gazebo, and willow tree are all wonderful photo opportunities for both you and your guests. We especially want to acknowledge our event coordinator, Stephanie, who went above and beyond for us on more than one occasion.

I recently filmed a wedding at the Florian. Since I am a videographer I see a fair number of venues. Besides the quality of food and basic staff services, the event coordinator went above and beyond to make sure all involved in the event had all of the information and plans needed to make the event proceed flawlessly. Most couples are not aware of the behind the scenes attention to details that an event venue coordinator can provide. Stephanie at the Florian was a great help in making my job easier to provide the couple with great video coverage.

We had our wedding reception at The Florian, and we could not be happier with that decision. Our entire experience with the Florian and its staff was amazing. From planning and tasting events to our wedding day, everything was executed wonderfully. Stephanie and Danielle are so helpful and organized – easy to work with. The venue itself is stunning. The only thing we did not appreciate was the inflexibility surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. This looks like a classy place to have a party, and it’s particularly suitable for wedding photography. I visited this place on an off day, in hopes of capturing some sunset shots.
Take a look at the picturesque little pond they have set up, with numerous photo spots all around. I can’t vouch for the staff or the contents of this well-situated building, but its grounds are first-rate, like a royal courtyard. Check it out!

I'm writing this review as a wedding guest only, so cannot comment on pricing or the planning experience.
We attended a wedding at Florian this past weekend, and thought it was a pretty great venue. Everything seemed well-organized. The wedding was outside. Right after the ceremony, we were ushered to the cocktail lounge and patio for drinks and appetizers. The apps were good, bruschetta with a balsamic drizzle (nice touch over plain bruschetta). After about an hour, the ballroom opened and we were able to be seated. The fixtures and furnishings were nice and well-kept. Dinner was great,

We had a memorial gathering at the Florian, the event coordinator Kelly was absolutely wonderful with the planning. She took extra care to ensure the event was what I wanted and it turned out to be spectacular. We have received so many complements on the venue, service and food. I would recommend having your event at the Florian.

We just had brunch here and it was HORRIBLE! Oh my, everything tastes as if it came from a frozen dinner. Disgusting and defiantly not worth $20!!! When we asked for a soda we were informed that they carry "off-brand" cola. They make their own chocolate milk that tastes horrible, barely a chocolate taste to it! Their selection was not that great either. The staff working there was friendly and that is the only reason why I'm even giving them 1 star. I can't even imagine what the food tastes like for weddings and banquets! Your better off making food at home!
