Leisha's Bakeria is a boutique eatery in the Bijou Square neighborhood of Downtown Bridgeport. Opened in 2014, Leisha's has been serving up quick eats and baked goods for eat in and to go. Our cozy spot will get you going in the morning with some of our savory breakfast options and coffee, or stop by for lunch for a toasty sandwich, salad, or hot soup.
There's always room for dessert here, and with everything being baked fresh daily, there is a constant rotation of new goodies waiting behind our counter. We cater, too! Stop by or give us a call and we'll put together the perfect package.

I ordered cupcakes for my mother's 60th birthday back in August (sorry for the super late review!) and they were the best cupcakes my family and I have ever had. The lemon/blueberry and raspberry mousse cupcakes were just incredibly flavorful. Leisha already had quite a few orders for that day but she was still able to accommodate me. The Bakeria is super cute. Leisha is such a sweetheart and very personable. We spent about 10 minutes talking. Overall, great experience. Everyone loved the cupcakes. I tell everyone to try out Leisha's Bakeria. Definitely gained a new customer. Thanks so much!

While in Bridgeport, I was in search of breakfast and came across this little shop. I went in for a quick breakfast sandwich, but came out with a delightful potato waffle with bacon and cheese - OMG! While I was waiting, I perused the bakery case and came across these little red velvet mini muffins sprinkled in cinnamon sugar o_O I couldn't get enough of them! As I was contemplating these little muffins, I called in an order to take home to my family (they were THAT good!!). Hands down the best chocolate cupcake I have ever had, and I have a large sample size to draw from. The frosting was fluffy and rich and perfect. The cake was moist and super tender. The presentation was beautiful. My pants will be upset I have discovered these cupcakes, but pants be damned! This place is known for their chocolate chip cookies (go early or they will sell out!) But I'm here to spread the word on the cupcakes! Get yourself a mid day treat. You won't regret it.

The french toast casserole was amazing!!! I just had to go and taste it after reading so many reviews about it and let me just say it did not disappoint and thankfully i went on a Tuesday which is the only day they have the french toast casserole. Not only was the french toast great but so was the freshly made bacon egg and cheese that was very well seasoned. The lady working there was so nice she even gave my 1 year old boy a free chocolate chip. I will definitely be coming again.

Lovely space, and Leisha is always warm.
My go to here are the egg bite sliders and the quiches (I tend to call and see what the daily selections are) - these are both stellar!
Will be going to try out the French Toast Tuesday soon, will report back.

Leisha baked a beautiful and yummy cake for my anniversary. From the start of ordering my cake to the day of pickup she was extremely professional and made sure I had everything I needed. The cake was so yummy I should of ordered a bigger size lol.

The food here is great. But they took 11 minutes to make be a coffee with steamed milk at 7:30 am on a weekday. And I was charged two dollars more then the morning before for same coffee and muffin. Went in for a bagel one day and paid $1.75, the next week it was $3.00, a day later it was $1.75
Idk if the employees just don't know the prices, or if one of them is stealing from the owner. Had amazing quiche, mind blowing potato waffles(you read that right)... but I'd ask the price of anything before you order... and careful with your morning coffee, I just saw four people waiting

Very cute and cozy little spot in this small CT city. They make some nice breakfast sandwiches; this is what I came looking for. Took the advice of the friendly gal @ the counter - got my sandwich on the Portuguese Roll - it was delicious. Bagels looked pretty big! To make Great Bread you need Great Water - Your in CT - so you are all good! Not sure if I will be returning anytime soon, now that we know that Cracker Barrel is not to far away ;-) - But, if you are passing by, I would highly recommend. A+

After all the hype on google reviews and yelp i finally visited this place. I am soo not pleased with the outlook and the way its organized its quite messy the floor was sticky, not clean tables and scattered bits of food all over. I donno if they didn't have enough number of people to work or its just like that. Coming to food it was good but i had to go remind for my coffee again and again i got it after 20 minutes. I wouldn't recommend if someone is looking for a place to study as this place doesn't have electric ports anywhere nor any clean tables.

Wow! I order my own version of a Monte Cristo and Leisha was all too happy to accommodate me and made mine with bacon which was delicious. My hubby has the Chicken Quesadilla Quiche and it was amazing! The portions are nicely sized, not like other places. Leisha is very nice and attentive to all who come into her shop, it feels like home. Her coffee served in large mugs is great! Love her sultry music in the background and the decor is adorable! Ah, forgot to mention the Blueberry muffins and cookies are to die for deliciousness!!!!

Very very cute and what a perfect downtown location. They have plenty of indoor seating as well as outside in the sun on a nice day. So many baked goods from which to choose plus tiny frittatas perfect for a light snack among other sandwiches for lunch. You honestly can't go wrong. I love independent bakeries and strongly urge others to support them. BTW, if you aren't doing business in downtown Bridgeport, this is easy off I-95 or Route 8. And, street parking is generally pretty easy in downtown Bridgeport.

My 43rd birthday was quickly approaching. I could've gone to a place like "stop and shop" or "the pantry" in Fairfield for a cake.
But I saw this beautiful vanilla confetti cake online, and when I thought of a baker to bake it for me ,

They have some great from scratch, made to order breakfast. The morning pie was great with a light and flaky crust. Ours was a little dry since we ordered it without sauce but it was still great. Very friendly staff who were quick to offer to top off your coffee. They looked to have a good selection of house made cookies even though I didn't try any.
