I'm glad I fixed my 2017 Ford van at JG Transmissions. Jim explained me all the different options that I could do to fix it, and I choose to replace torque converter instead of whole transmission. Thus worked very well and van runs like new since I got it back. Jim, thanks again.

I've been going to JG for years. Jimmy has always done right by both me and my family. I started going there and eventually convinced my family to go too. He always gives you a great price and lets you know what you can hold off on and what needs fixing now.

Best mechanic shop around!! They're a family run business. They do great work and make sure that you're taken care of in a timely manner. Very reasonable prices.

If I could zero stars ..so got my transmission fixed gave me 15 month warranty..told jim I don't drive it much..so the transmission went out again in the 14th month I put only 3000 miles on it the new rebuilt transmission..so got it towed in and he told me there was no fluid in the transmission hmmm..he just fixed the dam thing ...said there was a pin hole leak lmao okay I would of seen it under my truck ..anyway cost me 2k more ...what a f ing scam ....any other shop would fix it for free under warranty but nope got stung twice .....never again karma baby...oh one last thing when towed 156k

Jim @JG is awesome. We knew the transmission on my pickup was going. He fervently tried to keep it going before the inevitable blow-up.

Well, the trans rebuild has been solid. It will never blow up again thanks to an external trans cooler. You get what you pay for. This thing has been dynamite, maybe 5 years now.

He has also serviced my transfer case, U-joints, and hubs. He will not do unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend his shoppe.

I do a lot of work on our cars myself, so I know my way around them. I did my homework, when I ran into trouble with my transmission. I read a lot of reviews, and I knew what questions to ask when I talked to the repair shops. I finally settled on these folks, as soon as I talked to them. The owner was very knowledgeable, and he really seemed to care about the quality of his work. I had an intermittent problem, and they were able to diagnose it accurately. Unlike AAMCO and other chain shops ..JG really knows how to service and optimize transmissions. SEE yelp reviews on the Pepboys and Aamco locations..then take your vehicle to JG.., but wait..JG does ALL NEEDED SERVICE REPAIRS AND TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERTLY., not just transmissions...Look, i have ripped apart businesses on yelp that cheat ,scam, and are just plain incompetent with what they do.
