Marine Safety Consultants, Inc., was founded in 1980 by David C. DuBois, a former Coast Guard officer, who recognized the need to service the local fishing fleet with safety consulting; and provide a steady regional presence to respond to insurance claims arising from oil pollution incidents, hull and machinery casualties, and crew injuries.
Marine Safety Consultants, Inc. has been managing P&I claims (passenger, LSHW & Jones Act) for over 35 years, this is accomplished through their companion P&I management company, Maritime Claims Associates, LLC. Maritime Claims Associates, LLC conducts investigations into personal injury claims, both passenger and crew.
Marine Safety Consultants is staffed with experienced personnel who are highly qualified in many areas and disciplines relating to the maritime industry. As a result, we can provide consulting services in many diverse areas. Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture for vessel construction, re-fit and machinery installations.
