Falls Point Marine specializes in the fabrication and service of custom docks and piers that meet the needs of Maine's coastal environment. Whether residential or commercial, each dock we build is strong enough to withstand the harshest Maine weather. We engineer, permit and and construct with wood, aluminum and granite.
Falls Point Marine can design a solutions for a wide variety of shoreline situations. We design, permit and construct seawalls, wave action revetments, retaining walls and navy bulkheads. Our unique equipment inventory allows us to offer shore side construction to reduce environmental disturbance. We source local quarried stone that will match the existing landscape.
One of the most challenging aspects of shore land construction is the efficient attainment of appropriate approval permits. Falls Point Marine has proven experience permitting all the projects they design and construct. Through years of navigating the various permitting processes, Falls Point Marine has amassed the knowledge, experience and contacts to take your project through the permitting process as promptly and efficiently as possible.
Falls Point's recently expanded welding division fabricates our unique FPM "X". We have created a hybrid that integrates a lightweight aluminum frame with a traditional wood design. FPM "X" products are custom built for pier heads, gangways and shore access stairs. This FPM "X" style is the practical yet stylish choice for gangways that are lightweight, long lasting and easily serviced.

I just bought a swim ladder from Falls Point Marine. In this and all of my other dealings w/ Falls Point Marine and Carter and Kathy specifically, i couldn't have been more pleased or satisfied! The quality of the swim ladder and it's ease of use has made my time at the lake the Best it's been in years!! After many surgeries in recent years getting into and out of the lake safely had become so stressful.. now I am water-girl once again swimming many times a day with nothing but excitement and joy!! Thank you Fallspoint Marine, you made it all possible!! I highly recommend them

Falls Point may do good work, but if you do business with them make sure in advance that you have every detail in writing and you have a way of retrieving your property after payment is made. The owner, Carter, is very dishonest and has a tendency to increase his pricing regardless of what he has previously agreed to.
There are many alternatives in the area and I would recommend avoiding the headache I went through and using one of them instead.
