Absolutely the worse community and management I have ever encountered. "The Springs" Our apartment has been INFESTED with bees and ladybugs for the past month with management and maintenance doing little to help. We had a hive on our patio, making it so we couldn't use it at all. Not to mention, the bees were making their way into our home through the poorly fitted patio door. After multiple emails maintenance came by with a can of bee spray, Like we hadn't thought of that by now. I informed the maintenance tech that we've used up multiple cans of raid spray with no luck

I am one of the longest residence at The Springs in Saratoga Springs, NY. In November 2018, I broke my back and was forced to go out of work on Disability. As you can imagine, it was a serious financial hit, but I managed to pay my rent although sometimes late. I made the office aware of my situation as asked to be let out of my lease since living on disability could not afford me this option. I was told no and since I was paying mid month, I now had to pay a $175/month late fee to add insult to injury. Well now it's almost Sept. and I am being told that if I don't pay back late fees

After many emails, resident meetings to express concerns over upkeep and general accountability, unfortunately I feel the need to post a review so that any individuals considering leasing through this company and especially at Excelsior know that for an exceptionally high price point, your common area maintenance and upkeep will not by any means match the price point.
I'm am updating my review. I did not end up releasing as indicated. As a matter of fact, I am going to be filing a claim with small claims court. When I first moved in, I found the apartment to be unpainted satisfactorily

Excelsior Park Apartments are advertised as "luxury." I could fill two pages of the uncleanliness of the apartment I was forced to move into because I signed the lease prior to checking it for move-in readiness, even though I gave them a list of cleaning work still uncompleted. Instead, I was given a $100 adjustment for incomplete cleaning. The manager arbitrarily adjusts the amount depending upon her mood, as I learned other residents were given up to $250 adjustments; apartments smaller than mine. According to the NYS AG's Rights of Tenants, apartments should be clean and habitable

Do not use this company or work with this company if you value people over belongings.
My husband's father passed away suddenly. Unfortunately for us, he lived in a building managed by this company. We were told we could come and get in his apartment to find his important documents. My husband, shocked by his father's death, was hoping to find his will/ his wishes. We were then told no we could not get in, but the property manager could go in and see if his documents were there. Then, we drove down to the apartment only to be told there was no way we could get in without legal paperwork
