Very cool place, the service was amazing. Very nice girls in there, very attentive. The food was excellent. Grilled shrimp wrap was really good. And the fries were delicious. The place itself is really nicely setup looks high end and cheerful to have a party or a business lunch. Outdoor section is in a beautiful spot close to the river.

Nice vibe indoor / outdoors and my serves was very kind. I have been there twice and the food is good but it did have flaws with the kitchen. The first time we went we two sandwiches (make correctly) and we got the mozzarella sticks which were cold in the middle and they did not have the marinara sauce.
Yesterday we went with a large group of people as a going away party and I ordered the grilled berry salad which was very tasty but the blackberries were missing and I had to re ask for my chicken that was brought out after I finished my salad (chicken was very good).

Took my mom for lunch. She loved her Salmon dish. I had the grilled chicken breast with veggies and ordered sweet potatoe fries in lieu of mash potatoes, the order came out wrong but they quickly made it right without any issues.
The waitresses here are nice, courteous, and check on you frequently to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I'd recommend Gattuso's to all my friend's and family.

This was our first time at this popular Gretna restaurant. It is a major hangout with friends and family . People visiting from out of town make sure they stop in when they come here, so we wanted to see what we were missing...
The restaurant offers a comfortable and beautiful outside dining area; but, due to threatening weather, we chose to eat inside. I had the Ruben with sweet potato fries (highly recommended). My wife had the Gattuso Burger and said it was "perfect"!
Our server was engaging, and I could not get over how sparking clean and ornate the place was. We will definitely be going

Overall: nice place with decent food; not a good value; free parking
pros: outdoor seating (great during covid); large menu variety; friendly service; nice decor and interior (can't eat it, but you pay for it); free & convenient parking across the street; nice location great for walking around before or after eating
cons: hostess should inform you if they're out of any specials of the day before you get your heart set on them; tepid gumbo with crunchy rice (in louisiana?); table surface had a sticky texture before and after they cleaned it--likely a combo of outdoor humidity and build-up of cleaner
