Flavia Bruni's Be Bella Pilates allows the body to access it's strength and innate ease and efficiency in movement. Every workout creates lean, long muscles, a powerful core and beautiful, effortless posture while feeling energizing and luxurious. Flavia Bruni is the owner and creator of Be Bella Pilates, a Pilates studio and movement method based In Chelsea NYC.

As a devoted dancer and lifetime student of movement with 20 years experience in teaching Pilates, Flavia worked on developing a Pilates method that not only creates a strong core and long lean muscle but also works on enhancing women natural beauty through effortless posture, grace in movement and deep connection with the breathe.

This Be Bella Pilates deeply strengthening session uses the Pilates equipment to create long, lean muscles and a powerful core while finding ease and efficiency in movement. Tuning in with your breath and body while melting muscular tension away will result in beautiful, dynamic, effortless posture and a deep sense of wellbeing.
Be Bella Pilates Floor Work is a Pilates-based class that will allow you to powerfully connect with your body's natural and innate intelligence to develop strength, mobility and an efficient core. Using the floor, gravity and props as dynamic partners makes this workout really efficient, strengthening and something so good that you will begin to crave it as your body becomes strong and beautiful.
The Breathe in Your Beauty Party is a 2 hours event perfect for women to celebrate our natural beauty and our beautiful, energetic, rounded, magical bodies. The class taught by Flavia includes the Breathe in Your Beauty Body Ritual: a workout that deeply honors the body and allows your innate beauty to flourish.
I grew up in the wild nature of Calabria in South of Italy at the University Campus of Arcavacata, Cosenza where my dad had his first job as a young professor. The campus was between the mountains of Sila and the beautiful Tirreno Sea. There was not much around besides nature, but the sky, the colors-- everything was stunning!

I had a wonderful experience at Be Bella Pilates with Flavia! Her studio is warm and inviting and I felt like I was in very experienced hands as Flavia guided me through a series of movements to get started. You can tell immediately that Flavia has studied dance and has an immense understanding of the body in her instruction. Her method is precise and deliberate and she exudes such warmth and encouragement as she guides you through it. I left her studio feeling relaxed and confident. I can’t wait to go back!

Flavia is the most talented movement or exercise teacher I've ever experienced. She has a deep understanding of how our bodies work, how they want to move, and how to develop grace and strength. She is sensitive and intuitive and her responses are very individualistic. Her humor and intelligence make a class with her an utter pleasure.

During my long staying in New York, my wife and my 15 y.o. daughter wanted to find out a gym course. Surfing the web we known about Flavia and her training programs. Unfortunately they could attempt only a three weeks program because the staying ended soon, but they would go on and on.... Flavia was so kind and nice person and of course professionaly very well prepared. All was perfectly organized and suitable for our needed. I personally advice her training services.

Flavia has a deep knowledge of the body, both from her dance background, her study of biomechanics and her experience with various somatic modalities. At 40, and wise beyond her years, she' s emphatic and encouraging about one' s capacities and abilities. She stays with you, sometimes hands on, until you get it right.
Flavia meets you were you are at, and while she is having you stretching, aligning and moving using the natural movement of the body to undo bed habits, she never pushes too hard, believing that a gentle approach to the body is most effective. This itself has his own lesson.

I've been working with Flavia for many years and I can't say enough good things about her. From helping women to love their bodies, whatever shape they are, to helping women get strong and fit, she has an amazing talent. She has so much knowledge about the way bodies are supposed to work and she brings that to all the work that she does. I see positive changes for me after every session. And she's so much fun, it never feels like work. I love her.

Flavia is the best Pilate instructor in NYC. You cannot find another Pilate personal trainer who is as sweet and as professional as Flavia. She is patient, encouraging, supportive and will personalize her class to your specific needs. Only a few Pilates sessions with Flavia, my chiropractor notices that my posture has improved significantly and comments that im taller! I am more flexible than before. She personalizes all the movement from head to toe specifically to your body needs. I always feel relaxed after each session. I will never look for another Pilate instructor other than her! You will

I first met Flavia at ‪#‎sacredbeautysalonseries‬ and was totally inspired by her mission to help women to love and nurture their bodies. Spending an hour in her tranquil private Soho studio was further affirmation that she really knows her stuff! She taught me about "skin intelligence" and how certain subtle movements help the muscles to work more efficiently (All in her adorable Italian accent!) There are so many fad workouts out there but I am convinced the be beautiful pilates method is a sure fire way to sculpt long and lean muscle. Can't wait to go back!

What a gem in the city! Absolutely loved my class with lovely Flavia. The pilates approach was one the most satisfying as her understanding how the body works and what it needs was on point. The respect and intuition towards the body is so much needed and Be Beautiful Pilates is in abundance of it all. I will be back!

I went to Flavia because I'd been experiencing pain in my shoulder area for months and had limited range of motion. I know Flavia has years of experience not only as a Pilates instructor but also as a dancer, so I trusted her to give me the right exercises to help me loosen up the muscle. I'd only done Pilates once in a group class so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was a VERY personalized class to address my specific issues. I'm a 62 year old woman who belongs to a gym, but hates it, have tried a trainer that left me uninspired, goes to yoga and have had good and not so good teachers, but had found no way to be active and strengthen my body that I am motivated to do regularly - until I met Flavia.
