Inflammation is the body's normal protective response to an injury, irritation, or surgery. This natural "defense" process brings increased blood flow to the area, resulting i n an accumulation of fluid. As the body mounts this protective response, the symptoms of inflammation develop. Inflammation can be acute or chronic.
An ankle sprain is an injury to one or more ligaments in the ankle, usually on the outside of the ankle. Ligaments are bands of tissue - like rubber bands - that connect one bone to another and bind the joints together. In the ankle joint, ligaments provide stability by limiting side-to-side movement.
Athlete's foot is a skin infection caused by fungus. A fungal infection may occur on any part of the body. Fungus commonly attacks the feet because it thrives in a dark, moist, warm environment such as a shoe and surround many times by moist or sweaty socks. Athletes commonly have sweaty feet and use the facilities where fungus is commonly found, thus the term "athlete's foot."
A bunion (also referred to as hallux valgus or hallux abducto valgus) is often described as a bump on the side of the big toe. But a bunion is more than that. The visible bump actually reflects changes in the bony framework of the front part of the foot. Many people may unnecessarily suffer the pain of bunions for years before seeking treatment.
People with foot deformities, such as hammertoes, often suffer from corns because the tops of the bent toes rub against the tops of shoes. There are a number of treatment options for corns. When corns get hard enough to cause pain, a foot and ankle surgeon will recommend the treatment option most appropriate for you.

Excelent podiatrist! !!! I had an ingrown toenail that was bothering me for a long time and I didn't take care of it because I was afraid of the procedure that had to be done. I had a previous experience with another doctor and the pain was horrible and didn't solve the problem. With this doctor, the pain was minimal and the procedure was fast. He was talking to me all the time to keep my mind away of what was happening. Excellent podiatrist and friendly staff! ! Thank you for your great job!!!

Excellent doctor and does amazing work
Not happy that my surgery is delayed till 1PM tomorrow. I can't go that long with out eating.
I was originally suppose to have surgery for the Jones Fracture at 12 noon. Even that was stretching how long I could go without eating anything from the night before.
Very unhappy with the delay.
