Like several others, I was gifted a $200 gift certificate and just found out that they are permanently close. How do I get the money back or at least transferred elsewhere?

I was gifted a gift certificate to this place for quite a significant amount of money and this place is evidently CLOSED permanently. There is no information about how to get the money refunded. I am crushed. The owners are listed in public records as Elizabeth Snowdon, Brad Drummer, and Melani Drummer.

My daughter purchased me a gift card $150.00 and well they are permanently CLOSED! She just purchased it a few months ago! How can she get her money back? This is horrible! Unbelievable that they would sell a gift Certificate knowing they were closing!

Today was my third time at Nusta Spa. Excellent service and really nice staff. I got a deep massage from Lisa and she is AMAZING! The spa takes COVID safety precautions very seriously which I appreciated. My temperature was taken at the door and masks were on the entire time. I'll definitely come back to see Lisa!

Nusta is back, and better than ever! This spa has fully embraced all the health precautions being set by the DC govt ... and more. Upon entering, the receptionist welcomed me warmly and coached me through sanitizing my hands, disinfecting my shoes, and even offered me a mask.

After a short wait, my therapist, Brad. retrieved me and took me straight back to the massage room. He walked me through how my massage was going to be different and then we got stared. The biggest thing was that I had a mask and the therapist wore a mask/face shield.

This rock star (I've seen him before) worked

Nusta is my main go-to spa in DC. I found two massage therapists who really listen to me and the concerns I have with my body, and then address those concerns. I suffer from 4 chronic illnesses, and I'm in pain every single day. I have to get massages often in an attempt to relieve some of this pain. Diana is incredible when it comes to Deep Tissue massages. She uses great pressure and can hone into my most painful trouble spots. She listens to me when it comes to pressure and is very responsive.

Sharla does Deep Heat massages. Honestly, these are amazing for chronic pain and Nusta should

I had a heat immersion massage with Sharla, it was amazing! Front desk was welcoming and professional, the lounge area before your massage has nice teas and tinctures to add to the relaxing experience. The massage was the best I've ever had. I had some serious problem areas in my back and shoulders and between the heat and Sharla's deep pressure, it really helped to relieve that tension. It also includes some aroma therapy, many forms of heat therapy (hot towels, hot stones), and a foot scrub! I left feeling incredibly relaxed! Would recommend her and this location to anyone looking for

Front desk staff was very welcoming. We where greeted upon arriving and promptly given a tour of the facility. The facility was very clean. The lounge was small but nice and very cozy. The message was incredible. The therapist paid attention to detail and left us both feeling amazing. Highly recommended!

This review is about the acupuncture program.

I was a previous client of Marianna's who followed her to Nusta Spa, and can only say good things about the quality and attention she brings to her practice. She is an excellent listener and practitioner who helps insure her clients understand acupuncture as well as benefit from it.

Nusta Spa is a beautiful space with a calm, beautiful lounge for waiting before and after appointments. I particularly appreciated the heated table during my session!

They are racist, tacky, unprofessional. After you're done getting a wax, or massage your technician will go the back and say how nasty you smelled or how fat you were or that they're hands had to work such, "flabby" skin.

If you're not a white wealthy individual expect a different treatment. That's why they are writing the good reviews because the treatment is different lol. If you purchased a gift for someone tell them to dress as fancy as possible so they'll get good treatment because they definitely will.

It's honestly so tragic. You find ALOT of information

HORRIBLE place! They're overpriced (and not to mention, they charge ridiculous cancellation fees -- I had a stomach virus and considered still making my Nusta appointment so I would not be charged...), and they don't deliver at the level they should be given the costs they charge. I paid for a $97 pedicure and still left with tough skin on my heels and uneven nails.

To make it worse, it is the worst customer service I've ever encountered in DC. I was overcharged and when I called to question the added expenses I was spoken down to and was not given a refund.

DO NOT GO HERE.

I loved my manicure! Nicole did a fantastic job and was very nice to chat to. The ambiance of the spa was relaxing and cheery. It was a very positive experience. Even their waiting room area has free drinks and snacks and a relaxing atmosphere.

However, I was drawn in to get a manicure because I had a work appointment nearby and the Yelp sure advertised a "free Essential Manicure with Yelp check-in." So I made an appointment for my lunch break and arrived excited. I checked the info in Yelp and all it said was that when I hit "check-in," the free manicure code would

Beautiful, very professional spa with great services.
I booked a couples retreat package with Brad and Tim. The sauna and massage were both excellent. The facilities at this place are very impressive. LEED certified, high ceilings, ample space, very quiet. From inside, I would never have guessed that this was a street-level office in the middle of the District. The staff were very courteous. From what I can tell, they have their bases covered in terms of accommodating medical conditions. There are some decent locker rooms, a waiting lounge with refreshments, and a surprisingly large number of spa

I've been going to Nusta Spa (whenever I have the chance!) since it opened. I love the spa environment in Nusta- it's so relaxing (& super clean), they have a great quiet area to wait in before services, and their robes are nice & comfortable. I recently had a 90m Calming Massage with Sarah and she was excellent! It was so relaxing and enjoyable.

I highly advise everyone to join their email list as they sometimes send great last minute specials for weekday appointments, I was able to receive 30% off my Calming massage, which is amazing!! Also, it's super easy to make

I'm from Detroit and she made me feel welcome since I was only in town for a short time. Super friendly. Gave great recommendations for my skin! And my face looks great! Thanks!

I've had wonderful experiences @ Nusta, for pampering as well as for a massage following a recent injury. After a shoulder injury I was able to make a same day appointment with Janelle for a deep tissue massage. She was attentive, respectful, strong, and her technique was perfect for me. I left feeling well again!
The spa is exceptionally clean, the staff & atmosphere calming, & the products rejuvenate. I'll definitely recommend Nusta!
