Got a deal on a Groupon. Very hard to actually get a live person to schedule and when I finally scheduled something, there was no one at the location for my appointment. Standing out in the cold rain with a locked door and no one answering the door or phone. Don’t waste your money; this business is not serious.

Per the owner request ive contacted the office/ spa in regards to my experience. Still todate Jan 28 2020 with NO success. Again i purchased a groupon for 2 couples mineral bath scrub which I was told i could not use it for two Patricia reached out to management/owner and said on my next visit they will honor. I scheduled 3 times to be stood up twice office was closed and the other I arrived and doors were locked and unanswered. Waited called emailed no response i wrote a review last year 2019 and still NO resolution at this point i dont think they even care they took money from customer and full

Luther gave me an incredible massage with just the right pressure because he checked with me throughout the session to see how I was doing, which I really appreciate. Luther was also extremely attentive and welcoming throughout my time at the studio. The studio space looked like it was under construction with several boxes tossed around the lobby, paint tape on the molding, no table to place my tea, etc. It seems that this studio is new and I understand that transition can be messy though I hope that the space is more tidy and customer friendly the next time I visit.

The service was good but i paid for a couples bath in sauna and was only told i can do one and they promised to honor the geoupon i purchased. Scheduled twice and they stood me up and have been calling since the summer and still i have not gotten compensated at all. I hated given this rating but customer service is always a plus for me. But Patricia did a good job jus dont like the fact that now noone seems to care bout the money ive already paid for this service and wasnt able to render in FULL!😵

Honestly one of the best massages I've ever had - for the second time. If you're looking for a four seasons spa experience, DDbalance probably won't be your schtick, but Devin has more magical hands than any masseuse at a five star spa I've ever been to. If you're an athlete especially, I highly recommend. She just gets it, and post marathon or training run or whatever.. just go.

My massage with Luther was the single most effective massage I've ever had. I bought the Groupon, forgot about it, and had to quickly schedule both massages before the expiration (2 massages in 3 days?! What IS a girl to do?)
The massage area is on the third floor walk up. The space is dark and soothing. It looks like it's still being renovated, but that didn't really detract for me.
My first was with Genet. It was efficient and relaxing. Sound travels easily in this space and some of the satisfied noises from other areas were a bit distracting. The massage was good! Professional

I purchased two 60 minute Deep Tissue or Swedish Massages through Groupon and went to schedule them. The first two times I called to schedule the answering machine picked up even though it was during regular business hours. I then went to the website to schedule and it was confusing, so I called back again but their computer system was down. Rather than take my name and number to call me back, they told me to call back. I called back to schedule and when we finally find a date and time they asked if I had been there before. I said yes, with Groupon

I had a Brazilian last week and it was really good! I was also really impressed by the facilities and the service. I was also told about the importance of exfoliating with a sugar scrub once a week to prevent ingrown hairs, which is extremely helpful for a relatively new waxer. Will be returning for that student special next month!

Please explain the logic in this: you buy a Groupon deal that says "for two" and call to book an appointment to then have one of the employees say that in the fine print it says for one person to use twice...I read the fine print to her for her to then say "it doesn't say for two people just two so it's for one person to use twice". That makes no sense to me. I called to book a relaxing spa treatment and she got me more riled up...the irony.

Absolutely loved my friends and I experience at the DDBalance spa. Neza gives amazing Moroccan style full body herbal bath and face mask/cleanse. She was well prepared and gave us the full experience: all the way from the lighting, drinks, snacks, toiletries, etc. We were pampered and felt on cloud 9 leaving the place. Neza follows the sanitary protocols, communicates the process well and is very accommodating. She also does waxing for those interested.

Terrible and completely unprofessional experience. I arrived early, checked in, and then waited 10 minutes before the manager came over to say I wasn't in their system. I showed her my confirmation email and she said she'd "try to fit me in." After waiting another 15 minutes and trying to be patient, I went up to the front counter to ask what the plan was. They assured me they were working on getting me set up shortly. I waited again as others went before me. Finally, they showed me to a changing room and said I could put my things in one of the personal lockers with a key.

I visited the Georgia Avenue location for a 60-min massage bought on Groupon.
-Location: literally steps away from Green/Yellow line Georgia Avenue. The massage studio is on the third floor of a building though, and you need to call to be let in even during normal office hours l. Seems a bit weird to me...and there's no elevators (20 or so flights of stairs) so beware.
-Scheduling: I called to schedule the day before, and at the end of it, they said the system was having issues and they'll write down my info and call back to confirm later. Well, I wrote it down on my calendar and forgot

Called DDBalance for the first time seeking a last minute appointment for a lower back pain flair up from previous car accident & muscle soreness / tension. Dee was very accommodating and agreed to see me on short notice. She was prompt and super attentive, making sure the pressure was just right. Her technique was just what I needed - a combination of swedish, deep tissue, and stretching. Her knowledge of the body and added advice post massage was very also quite helpful.
