Our DBT-oriented Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) is for Adults and Adolescents struggling with mental health diagnoses (Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, PTSD, etc.) and /or other comorbid disorders: (Eating Disorders, Substance, alcohol abuse, and other impulse control issues). IOP is a group program in which group members visit our treatment center between 3-6 days a week for at least 3 hours at a time.

All of our services, whether in a group or an individual setting, focus on clinical treatment for three broad spectrums of mental health: mood disorders, eating disorders, and dual diagnosis.
OCHPA/Nature & Nurture Facility offers Intensive Outpatient programs (IOPs) for Adolescence & Adults:. These programs allow individuals to engage in their daily activities such as work, school, family life, etc., while in treatment. The programs can serve as a step down for those transitioning from a higher level of care ( residential, Hospital) or step up, needing more than individual therapy ( based on Medical necessity).
The most common types of mood disorders are major depression, dysthymia (dysthymic disorder), bipolar disorder, mood disorder due to a general medical condition, and substance-induced mood disorder. Depression is a common, but serious medical condition that goes beyond the occasional feeling of sadness.
Dual diagnosis is when a person experiences a mental health condition and a substance abuse issue at the same time. Either condition can develop first and can be very broad. Substances can worsen existing symptoms of mental health disorders and can lead to mental health conditions by impacting one's moods, thoughts, and behaviors.
