After working several decades as a pathology lab manager & researcher, Jamie incorporates her background of Anatomy to the class. Her knowledge of alignment principals helps her guide students safely, allowing them maximum benefit from the practice.

Traditionally yoga is done with bare feet; please respect this timeless practice by removing your shoes and store them on the side. Keep your phones Smart; Please turn them off before the practice starts. Wear comfortable, breathable, clothing that allows for easy movement. I recommend that your clothing be slightly form fitting but comfortable in order for me to better assess your posture and correct any misalignment while in a yoga pose.
Harford Yoga has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and I, we look forward to spending that time together every week. Jamie teaches you all the aspects of yoga, not just postures and poses. She has really helped my 15 year old daughter who struggles with anxiety and depression, by showing her how to breathe when she starts to feel overwhelmed.
