Staying in a Colorado Chalet on Bear Creek while hearing Brandi Carlisle play at Red Rocks & hiking Garden of the Gods. Stamping that "national parks passport" with the kiddos-Yosemite, OMG, those Sequoia trees.
Eating lunch in a hammock in the rainforest, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge on top of an open tour bus. Snorkeling in a coral reef, staying in so many supercool Airbnbs (I have a knack for finding the best ones!). Enjoying Live-music whether it's a sold-out show in Madison Square Gardens or acoustic band at the local pub.

A heartwarming, family-centered, military promotion ceremony was the focus of this lifestyle portrait session, for me, a DC family photographer. For the Herb family, childhood is made of Harry Potter Wands, tree climbing, trampolines, fingerpaint, pets (named Albus, Luna, & Minerva of course).
Tasty treats, sunning decor and friendly, upbeat staff- you won't want to miss this JDK tasting event at The Bond. Colorful, expressive, creative- I totally loved photographing this tight-knit, unique group of students in this modern dance ensemble! While I primarily post weddings and portraits on my blog I also shoot a fair amount of corporate photography as well.

Working with Lisa on our wedding day was perfect! I felt so supported from the moment she arrived at the church. Lisa was affirming, genuine, friendly and upbeat, flexible and gentle in mentioning time and needs, and was such a vital piece to our day. She fit in like a glove – like she was always meant to be there – a friend that you want to always have around! I feel like Lisa went above and beyond to make us feel special on our wedding and go the extra mile. I even had a moment during couples photos when I was exhausted and needed a break, and she was so happy to accommodate and be flexible

What an incredible experience we had with Lisa! She was so warm, incredibly creative, and gave us some gorgeous photos that we revisit every year on our anniversary. Our outdoor wedding was met with rainstorms, and Lisa was calm through it all and used the rain to her advantage to get some truly unique and beautiful photos. We just celebrated our 8th anniversary and sat and looked through those photos with our sons. So many wonderful memories of that day, all captured beautifully for us. Thank you, Lisa!

Lisa was great to work with. We were with Lisa from the beginning. She did our engagement session a little less than a year before our wedding and then we continued working with her through the planning process. Having to plan a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic was no easy task but Lisa was awesome when it came to working with us if the need arose that we needed to reschedule or even split our ceremony/reception to two different dates. We thankfully were able to have our big day the way we had originally planned and we are so thankful that Lisa was a part of it.

As soon as we saw her beautiful photos online, we were immediately interested in working with Rhinehart Photography. Every shot that I liked had her logo on the bottom. Our first meeting totally sealed the deal, we knew we didn’t want to work with anyone else. The way Lisa puts effort into getting to know each couple personally before the big day is something I loved and would have never expected. Lisa Rhinehart is absolutely amazing!! We used her for our engagement photos and wedding photos. She is incredibly nice and easy to work with. From our very first meeting to getting our wedding album, the whole process was flawless. She got to know us and really captured our personalities and made each photo unique. During each photo session, she made us feel comfortable and we could just be ourselves. She is creative and will do whatever it takes to get the best shot possible. We were so happy with the entire process of working with Lisa. She photographed my cousin's wedding and I knew I wanted her for my own wedding way before I was even engaged. Lisa captures a beautiful and individual love story for each wedding she photographs and I couldn't wait to see my own love story in photos. She was organized from the beginning and helped map out the timeline for our wedding day without making it seemed rushed. Lisa is super easy to work with and scheduled multiple video calls to make sure she understood what our expectations were. We could not have asked for a better photographer

I first saw Lisa's work on Facebook when an acquaintance posted her photos from his wedding, and I immediately knew I'd found my wedding photographer. When we started planning our wedding, we knew the photographer had to be amazing. We wanted to be proud of the pictures we will show our kids one day. I ran across Lisa's website, and we immediately fell in love with her work. She captures emotion in every picture. We just knew we had to have her. Unfortunately, she was not available the day of our wedding. We were so devastated. After talking with Lisa, we came up with the idea of doing an after shoot. The best decision we could of made.
