A psychiatrist is a medical specialist who helps you take care of your brain, emotions and behavior, including interpersonal relationships (job, family, social). I want you to clearly understand what is wrong, what your strengths and weaknesses are, whether or not change is necessary, how we collaborate to make any needed changes.

The friendly and warm atmosphere you realize it from the moment you are into the office, warm wall, modern wall paint colors, the two office manager ladies of Dr. Grumet are so helpful. They always go the extra mile to assist you if you need any assistance in booking an urgent appointment the same day or the next day ( the normal, if you are lucky, you can find a vacant slot in two to four weeks). Also, both ladies are managing the appointment schedule and dealing with patient calls promptly, and I'm mannerly time.

Dr. Ross Grumet tried to completely stop all my medications cold turkey and put me on a very strong sleeping pill during our last visit after I clearly told him that I'm not having any trouble sleeping. I would not be alive today to share this comment with you if I would have taken his advice. It is extremely dangerous to stop taking any type of psych med cold turkey especially after being on them for decades. Any medical professional will tell you the importance of tapering down from these fda approved poisons! It is by the grace of God that I survived.

At least five years strong with this doctor. Dr. Grumet has a passion for his work. He has never left me stranded in anyway. I see comments about the wait time on here. Be proactive...if waiting in line for your turn is too much to handle...be the first appointment of the day. I’m so thankful for the progress I have made. Dr. Grumet never gave up on me. The journey is worth every minute.

For years I have been a patient of Dr. Grumet and I'm glad to continue to be one. Over the years, his concern and care has never wavered. Having him as a part of my medical, mental, and overall health care has been a benefit to me as I grow. That being said, the one critique I would offer has been nullified by his new staff. Over the years, I've seen a wide spectrum of people who are his front lines, so to speak. There have been some great people who went above and beyond and some people who shouldn't ever be involved in health care or even customer service. Thankfully, the latter didn't last long

I have been a patient of Dr. Grumet for approximately 4 years. Tina, who runs his office, is by far the best office manager he has had. She is SO caring, responsive, and professional. She is a unique gem in this corrupt world and I hope she continues to stay with Dr. Grumet. The office manager is just as important as the doctor, and I have never felt genuinely cared for until I met Tina. It means so much.

Love Dr. Grumet; has really helped me through some rough times. Definitely the best psychiatrist I've seen (but haven't seen many). Dr. Grumet really works with the problems and finding solutions that are helpful. He is always around if there is something urgent My favorite receptionist is Michael! He is awesome and always so helpful! I have a very restricted schedule due to a special needs 3 1/2 yr old and Michael has always been so great with working me in the schedule. Michael is so nice and friendly. I love coming in on the days he is at work!!

If I could give this place NO STARS it would be too many. The office staff is completely incompetent. Michael is the absolute worse. Dr Grumet is a nice man but he really needs some new staff to get things organized. If you need to reschedule an appointment? you're screwed. If you need a prescription filled? you're screwed. Forget getting into contact with them by phone. If you need to actually speak with someone, you'll have to set yourself on fire and walk into the office to get their attention. LOUSY, LOUSY service. Can't wait to find another Dr in the metro area.
