We begin with gentle cleansing, brushing and steaming of the face, neck and dcollet to properly prepare the skin for thorough black and whitehead extraction. Every time I enter Pure Joy Day Spa, I feel like I'm walking through the pearly gates of Heaven! I am always immediately greeted by lovely Angels whose warm and genuine smiles can brighten any day. This past visit was no exception; I requested Sarah for my appointment and she did not disappoint.

I've been coming here for the two years now (mainly for facials) and the service has always been superb. The facility is always clean and the staff is very professional.
I highly recommend their Pure Glow or Oxygen facials. The esthetician keeps me well informed on how to continue to take care of my skin after the treatments which is always a plus to maintain the same look & feel I have when I'm leaving.
They book up quickly (not sure how much has changed since covid) so be sure to call in advanced to schedule appointments!

Massages have been my new go-to service for some R&R. This time, I was lucky enough to book a 1.5 hour massage on my birthday with Jessica and she was amazing! I asked her to work on my neck and shoulders and she did exactly that. She paid extra attention to the knots in my shoulders and helped release what she could in the time we had. We had great conversation about our upcoming weddings and other things which was nice and not awkward.

I came here for a Brazilian and a brow wax before my wedding as I was gifted a gift card for Pure Joy. There's a small lot in front with 3 stalls but you can turn onto Cooke street and park in the paid lot near Kats Sushi - Pure Joy will validate. I didn't know so found parking on King. Didn't matter much because I was in and out in about 35 minutes. The aesthetician was very friendly - I didn't get her name - but she was very courteous and polite, explained things as she went. You can't even tell you're right off busy King St! It smells divine inside and there&apos

Pure Joy Day Spa is a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city. I stopped by during my lunch hour to get a eyebrow wax. My office is in downtown Honolulu, so it was a quick thirteen minute walk from my office to the spa.
I was greeted by receptionist Malia and brow esthetician Maria, who directed me to the bathroom before starting the wax. The bathroom is clean with both paper towels and cloth towels. The room where the waxing took place was clean, calming, and fragrant. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was just right so that I felt neither hot or cold.
