Reneux Med & Day Spa was opened in 2007 by Dr. Irene Ohbe-Arakaki. A practicing Internal Medicine specialist in private practice, she had begun to offer Aesthetic Medical options to her patients and decided to focus on it full-time. She assembled a team of professionals to create one of Hawaii's most outstanding medical spas.

A complimentary consultation will be used to customize a personalized treatment plan designed to improve the health and appearance of your skin.

Born in Honolulu, Dr. Arakaki first graduated with honors from the University of Puget Sound, WA. After receiving her Medical Degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, she fulfilled her post-graduate training at UC Davis Medical Center and at the University of Hawaii's Residency Program.

Many years ago I went here for melasma treatment and had a great experience. I've referred people here since and when I was looking at anti aging treatments, it was first on my list. I had a free consult with Dr Tanabe and she seemed knowledgeable and compassionate. I was excited and agreed to purchase the annual membership at the end of my visit - not a huge cost. After sitting with my feelings I intuitively felt I should get a second opinion and ended up going with another doctor. I've had several Botox and filler procedures performed by Dr. Arakaki and Dr. Tanabe over the years and have been VERY happy with the results every time! The level of care and expertise they provide is excellent and I always trust that they understand my goals and what it will take to achieve them in a reasonable cost-efficient way. I was nervous before my first procedure but quickly felt relaxed after Dr. Arakaki, who is very easy-going, addressed all of my questions and concerns. Excellent place for Hydrafacials!
The space is a hidden gem on the second floor of a building on Kamakee. Decided to treat myself to a Hydrafacial because I recently had an allergic reaction and my face got all dry and blotchy.
Annie was incredible - she was so sweet, genuinely concerned about my skin history, and extremely knowledgeable! Although I've had Hydrafacials from other med spas, Annie still walked me through all the serums and extractions she did. Left feeling rejuvenated and hydrated!! Will definitely be back.

Needed a last minute botox touch up and Dr. Arakake was able to fit me in just in time. The front desk staff is super friendly and very helpful!!! Dr. Arakake was very understanding and a professional at what she does. I love the results! My old doctor was great but my experience here was so awesome that I think I will start coming here from now on. They also have a point system as well. Wonderful experience!

When I moved off island one of my first thoughts was how am I going to find another med spa as amazing as Reneux?! Dr. Arakake is one of the most patient doctors I have ever met, she is incredibly knowledgable and takes the time to explain the how and why for each of her procedures. Of the half dozen or so different procedures I received at Reneux over a two year period, I NEVER had a single bad experience in any capacity. The front desk staff are some of the sweetest gals you have ever met, and always called the following day to check up on things with sincere and genuine intentions and concern

Dr Ann Tanabe is the BEST! She's articulate and kind. She's Honest and actually cares about her clients well being. We have been searching for her effective last year, December 2017. I love coming to this day spa. I followed Sharon when she moved here since she is amazing! She is very knowledgeable about her laser treatments and takes the time to really understand your needs. I then started seeing Dr. Arakaki, who is also wonderful. She is patient and honest. There are other professionals like nail and massage providers who rent spaces there. I see Tyleen for lash perms and brow tatoos. She does fantastic work as well! I'm sure I'll find other services soon and be here even more!

Dr. Arakake is very thorough in her explanation as well as treatment. She pays attention to detail. Her prices are reasonable and she doesn't overdo the Botox like some do. They offer a wide variety of skincare treatments and products. One of the best things is in addition to the membership benefits that some of the manufacturers offer, like Brilliant Distinctions, the spa has their own membership program where you get one point per dollar and double points on the purchase of skincare products. Five Hundred Reneux Spa points equals a $10 discount on services. I love this place.

If you flying in from another island to get touched up yes it better be a 5 Star. I'm not sure if Maui is up to par with what Oahu offers in cosmetic skin care. I feel they are trustworthy and not just trying to take your money. Doctor felt genuine in character. Also gentle. So yes will be flying in more often! Thank you Reneux spa!

I got microblading, micropigmentation, and a lash lift from Tami Mitchel and I couldn't be happier. She did an awesome job and was so pleasant to be around. She gave me lots of information before my appointment so I was well prepared. The semipermanent make-up looks so natural. I feel comfortable going out with no make-up and it saves me lots of time getting ready in the morning. The procedure itself wasn't painful- Tami spends extra time to make sure the area is numb and reapplies numbing gel periodically throughout the procedures. I highly recommend Tami for all of these procedures

I've returned for my 7th visit! Wow, and more to come! I've had more Dyspot on my forehead, touch up with additional fillers, two chemical peels, and a micro peeling yesterday. I think that I'm becoming addicted to all of the wonderful treatments!
The first chemical peel did minimal peeling. The second did its job and peeled for about a week. I could see that the darkness of the melasma had lightened a bit. So she has cut my hair for quite some time now...she supported me the last year that I was trying to grow my hair out- that says a lot as I get weak in the chair and she knew that and would not let me cut it!!
Finally yesterday I decided that it was time to get my hair cleaned up...I am not a long locks gal! I am a short hair person and that is just the way it has to be....if Sheryl stays around that is. She has the skills and beyond to cut an amazing short hair cut....she went to Sassoon the world famous for her schooling

I see Sheryl at Reneux Med and Day spa for my haircut or bang trim.
Mostly bang trims. She is awesome. Always goes on the more conservative side because she can always cut more hair, you can't put it back. I really like that about her.
She makes sure you're happy with your hair cut.
