There is nothing more stressful for a parent than to see your child go through a difficult situation. Whether your child is withdrawn or depressed, anxious, defiant, or distressed over peer conflicts, it is hard to always know what to do to help. Counseling can help children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulties with their emotions or behavior.

Never felt that the counselor was actively listening to me. They never wrote anything down and made inaccurate assumptions as a result. When I would correct them, they would get defensive. Once, when I was given the option to discuss one topic or another, I told them which of the two I felt more comfortable sharing they immediately began discussing the issue that I did not choose. Was not helpful at all during Covid. They could have recommended the crisis hotline, but left me a message saying that they were not available and didn’t even check to make sure everything was alright. Terrible psychologist
