This issue is typically the safety sensors that can be found at the bottom of your door. Each motor unit can be different, however the lights on the sensors should be fully lit, not flickering, and free from obstruction, debris, etc. If this problem persist, new sensors may be needed. These issues typically indicate a broken spring.

Had my old garage door taken down and a new one installed today. My experience with 724 Garage Door from start to finish (From calling for a quote, picking out what I wanted, scheduling an install date, and having them come out to complete the install) was beyond a 5 star rating. My job involved installing a new larger door which required some structural modifications. Excellent communications from the company throughout the process including from Teresa in the office. Eric along with Sean and Brandon, did a great job and I'm very pleased with the results. Don't expect to have any issues but if I did I'm confident that Eric would make things right.
