Buckeye Auto Spa is a full service car wash and detail facility serving the Upper Arlington, Northwest Columbus, and Clintonville areas. We are a gentle, soft-cloth car wash. Unlike most gas station and express car washes where you run the vehicle through a tunnel and do everything else yourself, we do all of it for you; from the vacuuming to the windows to the drying, every step of the process is handled by our attendants.
All you have to do is wait and relax. We also offer extensive, in-depth detailing services. All hours are weather permitting. We may close early, open late, or not open at all without notice due to inclement weather conditions in our area. Call ahead to make sure we are open.

As commercial growth on Henderson and Kenny roads developed in the 1980s, the car wash was redeveloped and became a full service car wash known as Clean-a-Car Suburban Corp, loosely related with the Klean-a-Kar brand that had been a mainstay fixture in downtown Columbus.In the early 2010s, the owner passed away and the business was passed onto his brother, who later sold it to the current ownership and re-branded it as Buckeye Car Wash.

Services under $100 must be paid in full at time of scheduling. Otherwise, we will not schedule the appointment. Upon completion of the detail, the deposit will be deducted from your bill. An auto detail is an intensive and extensive cleaning of your vehicle.
Typically, this is to clean areas or materials that cannot be cleaned through the car wash; additionally, some items that cannot be removed by a car wash, like road tar or tree sap, can be removed through detailing.Because of the thoroughness of this process, it is time consuming and requires an appointment.

Some express washes refuse to wash boxier and taller vehicles because the equipment can damage the vehicle-or it misses too much dirt.

I was in the area so I stopped for a car wash. I didn't have the best first impression. No one was outside when I pulled around. No one else was in line either. So I parked my car and started walking towards the entrance. Two guys were coming out and said I needed to pull my car towards the entrance of the car wash. I also didn't realize I had to get out of my car and have them pull it through. $17 for their cheapest wash. I don't know if I'll be back.

Good group of guys - but they've gotta slow down and pay attention to detail. I got the "VIP" package - but yet still crumbs/debri in door jams and carpet. Rear view mirror didn't get wiped down, side view mirrors still have water spots in them, cup holders still dirty. I'm certain they'd do a better job if they slowed down and paid attention to detail instead of how fast and how many car washes they can do.

Got in line at 2:40pm. Noticed right away that my line was not moving and the other line was. When I finally got up to the employee I asked why. He stated some cars are dirtier than others but assured me I would be moved through the exterior wash line quickly. Fast forward to 3:40pm as I have been watching at least 12 cars that were here after me come through the line. Once again, when I asked, I was told there were 2 lines and an exterior wash line as it was "the luck of the draw". Not what I was told an hour before. Super rude employee and could not communicate to me why I was watching

First time here and very disappointed. I pay for a $31 package n end up just like a normal car wash at the gas stations, just they have someone to wipe it up for u after wash but the thing is the guy left a few… palm print on my car n also he don’t even wipe the stains at the backed the car... which they said stainless but don’t even mean it... plus the “hot wax” they mentioned in the package, I don’t see any difference than the other $10 car wash... I called but no one answer. I email also no response. Not satisfied at all!!!

First time here and honestly my last. The employees aren't very personable and really quite rude ( Finisher was alright, but the white guy vacuuming was RUDE). For $35 you should get better service and they don't even offer fresheners at this price. The lack of detail also in cleaning is missing. Maybe I'm a little critical since I worked my teens and my college years at a full service car wash. But with any service industry job you have to have detail and be friendly. I'll keep going to MOO MOO. At least they are friendly and I feel their washes are superior.

I've been here twice and both times it got the job done.
I love having a clean car and normally do it myself but every once and awhile I'm too tired so this place is perfect!
I've used the $23.99 service that covers the console and dash.
The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because both times I've driven away, I've noticed super obvious things that weren't cleaned. Then I have to clean them when I get home. Not a huge deal but knocks off a star.
The team of service members have been professional from start to finish both times I've been there

First of all, let me say that the service is an excellent value. The problem is that their unpredictability is absolutely maddening. They often close early, and other times they will only be cleaning exteriors. Twice I've driven there at 4 PM to find them closed, and yesterday I took my car in there was a sign saying "exteriors only". I finally got smart and called today, to find that again, they are only doing exterior washes. I live in a different part of town, so all of this is been extremely frustrating. This is about the closest you'll get to a full hand car wash in Columbus.
It's located off Kenny Road and is pretty easy to get into if you're heading south on Kenny.
You'll stop first at the vacuum station and select which wash package you want unless you just want their exterior only wash in which case you can drive right up to the tunnel (I think). Don't expect too much in terms of customer service from the outside workers. They'll usually just hold out a plastic card with the wash choices on it and stare blankly until you choose. I will never do business with this location again they make it almost ridiculously difficult to get in especially today and then there are spurts of time when they do vacuum or they don't do vacuum very big lack of consistency for marginal quality not really a nice break area it's a shame because the location is perfect left for the services I need it done today they weren't even able to do all the services today put me in a difficult situation this is a new ownership so I'm surprised you're not up in the game. Since they couldn't do a good job maybe they need to give

Not what I was expecting after reading their write up for the VIP service -- I thought my car would look newer, but there were spots missed. Granted the car did have some in grime that had been there a while. But then again, as I look around the car there are some clean spots and then others that seem to have been completely missed (between driver seat and center console, steering wheel, the seat belt buckles holder in second row seats, etch)
Aside from the comments above, I did like the place and the guy behind the counter was warm and pleasant.
