A ganglion cyst is a mass of tissue that is filled with a jellylike fluid. Ganglion cysts are among the most common benign soft-tissue masses. The structure of your foot is complex, consisting of bones, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Of the 26 bones in your foot, 19 are toe bones (phalanges) and metatarsal bones (the long bones in the midfoot).
Barnes is great! Friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and good with my daughter. It was a pleasure meeting him, and not having to worry about a toddler messing with all the medical tools because he encouraged her to play with them. Barnes is an amazing person - he is kind, caring, knowledgeable-all with a great sense of humor.

I do not know if John Barnes has any medical skills. During my brief appointment he was very lively, almost dramatic, and seemed to be quite full of himself.
I may be far from his perfect patient but was yelled at and criticized for not describing my problem to his satisfaction.

I first became a patient of Dr. Barnes when having my first and second bunionectomy surgeries. From the beginning my experience was overall positive, granted there was some loss of motion and feeling in my pinky toe following the removal of my tailors bunion on my left foot, but this is a trade off I wasn’t too unhappy about considering the overall positive experience through surgery and recovery. It’s only very recently that my experience with Dr. Barnes has turned negative. I saw him for what I had presumed to be a fungal infection on the bottom of my feet, he very very briefly looked at

Dr. Barnes is the best, he is the only podiatrist that offered another solution to help the neuropathy I have in my feet (besides just lowering blood sugars). Very caring, knowledgeable & listened to all of my concerns. Best podiatrist I have ever seen.

Dr. Barnes and his Nurse Natalia made me feel really comfortable during my appointment. I was nervous about seeing a new doctor but Dr. Barnes and his staff exceeded my expectations! The exam was very thorough and my left foot is looking brand spankin new. This is probably one of the best foot doctors office I’ve been to.

Dr Barnes operated on my foot for a neuroma some time ago and it was not a success. He did a second operation and that made it far worse. Today every step I take is painful. My foot is quite painful whenever I put weight on it. His advice was to get cushier shoes.

Dr. Barnes is terrific. I read all about the surgery for my condition before going, and was not looking forward to our meeting. He immediately diagnosed my problem then suggested that we start with the least invasive approach and explained all of the available therapies. We decided first to use orthotics then after that Astym physical therapy. And it worked! He explains the anatomy and mechanics of your problem and gladly answers your questions. He is prompt and thorough and does not rush you through the appointment. Plus he is just a completely friendly and compassionate person. The woman who

I have seen other podiatrists in the past 2 years with disappointing results. A few weeks I made a same-day appointment with Dr. Barnes. Not only was he very professional, he explained my diagnosis in detail and laid out options for my course of treatment. I am happy to say that I am no longer in pain, and back leading a normal healthy life, thanks to Dr. Barnes!

As a medical provider, I can have a hard time finding other providers who I really trust. I met with Dr. Barnes after reading reviews and am so glad I did. His bedside manner is so easy, honest, and approachable and, to top this off, he also knows his stuff and made sure he answered all of my questions. It's always nice to hear a surgeon say that the fix to my problem is not surgery but even if he had given me unwanted news I believe I would have trusted his experience and knowledge.

Dr. Barnes is definitely a caring and compassionate doctor. I have been having terrible foot pain for the past few years and have seen a few different podiatrist prior to seeing him! He immediately knew what was wrong with me and thoroughly explained it to me. He's the best :)
