Drivers today are more selective about where they wash their cars: whether due to environmental concerns, or the desire to preserve their car's lustrous finish, or the fact that some vehicles simply won't fit in many car wash tunnels. At Johns, you won't have to worry about contributing to the pollution problem.
Our washes reclaim all water used in the process, ensuring it is routed to a water treatment facility, rather than to local waterways. Also, our state-of-the-art water metering systems can save as much as 70% of the water you might use washing your car at home. Cars come in many shapes and sizes these days, making the automatic car wash "off limits" for some drivers.

Services
Developed over decades of experience in the rainy Pacific Northwest, the methods used at Johns are consistent with those prescribed in the Owner's Manuals of most leading auto manufacturers, including General Motors, Ferrari, BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, Ford, Porsche and others. Why do builders of the world's costliest and most popular automobiles recommend our way of washing?
All these contaminants collect on tires, wheels, fenders and other vehicle surfaces, after which runoff from home car washing can eventually release them into storm drains designed for rainwater. Even when bio-friendly soap (or no soap at all) is used, hosing off a car's body and wheels dislodges pollutants that can end up in rivers, lakes, and streams.
Driveway car washing is widely considered a wholesome ritual for those who care about their cars. Yet it's one of the worst things you can do to your car's finish. First, mits, sponges and towels used in the process inevitably become impregnated with tiny grit particles that scratch the paint and clearcoat.

A familiar story - they damaged my car and denied doing it, telling me "it was like that when you came in here". I have a black car (deep black paint) and they put surface scratches in the top coat, and just simply denied any blame for it.
My car was two weeks old at that time.
Fortunately, my trusted detail shop was able to buff out the surface scratches, but, you know, they don't work for free. I still had to pay someone to resolve the damage the car wash did.

At first I wasn't sure about these guys. The process feels like it goes too fast, you are in and out in like 2 minutes. Most automatic car washes take way longer. However, since my last visit to this place, my car has held a nice clean shine ever since (about 2 weeks so far). Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right. The service seems kind of expensive but who knows how much those soaps and chemicals cost, it could be a lot, plus they have employees to pay. I am satisfied with the service they provide.

They claim on their website that they only use soft cloth to wash the car. The reality is they have 2 people standing at the beginning with WASH BRUSHES!!! If you know anything about dark colored paint, you know a wash brush is a bad idea. They don't even rinse the initial grime off of the vehicle before they go at it with the WASH BRUSH!! They claim the WASH BRUSH is "the only way they can get the front end and rear end clean". The bottom line is this is no "SPECIAL" car wash. They do have a good dryer system but the rest is just "run of the mill" type equipment
