Precision Hermetic Technology was founded in 1989 as a manufacturer of glass to metal seals primarily for military and aerospace applications. At that time, PHT's customer base was located in California, and the company started its operations in San Bernardino in an 8,000 sq. In 1994, Schachtel became president after buying out his remaining business partners.
Our housings are fabricated using a one-piece shell construction for ultimate strength and performance. Polarizing keys, bayonets and other hardware are machined in, providing a more robust product with long-term reliability. We offer matched and compression sealing for standard as well as custom products.
We manufacture a broad range of feedthrough style connectors with weld and solder mount interface. Our feedthroughs are used in Submersible Pumps and Downhole instrumentation as well as Physiological, Exploratory, Biometric, Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Cryogenic medical probes and devices.
Our products are manufactured to withstand both high pressure and in vivo environments ensuring reliability and continuity of electrical power in downhole drilling as well as surgical applications.Sizes and configurations can be customized for specific design requirements. Iron Nickel Alloy, 52 Alloy, Kovar, Brass, Beryllium Copper and Phosphorus Bronze as well as other types of Copper Alloy materials.

Not a good place to work,low pay with high expectations,straight b.s when it comes to raises,use any excuse to not give you a raise in pay, alot of favoritism and brown nosing ,no room to grow and better yourself and the bosses don't appreciate the extra work or effort you put in!!!!!!!
