Hi, I'm Jill, a RI licensed massage therapist. I began my career as an LMT in 2003, graduating from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA. As with most things, time and experience have changed a lot about the way I approach massage therapy.
I've learned that more is not always better, that I prefer not to work with my clients to the point of pain, and that my treatments should be less about forcefully manipulating soft tissue (muscles, fascia) and more about providing novel stimulation to the nervous system to promote change. My goal is to provide results oriented therapeutic massage that is both deeply healing and profoundly relaxing.

Services
I think we can all agree that people are different, and the way each of us feels from day to day changes. I always take this into account, and tailor your massage session to you. Unless you specifically ask for the same style/type/sequence of techniques to be used each time you see me, you'll probably find that each massage you receive will be a little different from the last.
For others: For now, I'm suspending online gift certificate sales. If you are looking to purchase a gift certificate for an existing client, please contact me directly via phone or email. For me: Despite the additional costs of doing business, I am going to try my best to not increase my service rates at this time.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jill's therapeutic massage for whatever ails you. She has helped me immensely over the years with a chronic orthopedic issue but has also helped me to relax deeply, sleep better, and basically I always walk away with a sense of energy and wellbeing. You have to try it for yourself.
