Excellent staff. Compassionate and sympathetic. I'm LGBT and they don't judge you at all. The only thing I would say if I had to say anything negative is there was a male doctor a bit too much touchy feely while talking with me. That could make some people feel very uncomfortable. Just something he probably need to watch.

I am extremely grateful that this is even available to our community as a whole.
Speaking as an RN point of view, when I made my first phone call the staff was extremely professional and polite and understanding of my questions and I was actually able to converse with the doctor via phone and he was extremely well informed, professional , polite and took his time with every question I asked . I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and professionalism . I'm looking forward to being a patient of his and this center as a whole . This is definitely the right place to be during a transition process

MCWC shows a persistent and long-standing lack of organization and inability to communicate with clients. The phone frequently goes unanswered or is switched to the "office is closed" recording during listed business hours. It sometimes takes weeks to get prescription refills or make any other contact with the office. I often have to keep calling back throughout the week to ensure prescriptions ever get sent, which is exasperating given how difficult it is to reach anyone This is not a mere inconvenience, as even with seemingly sufficient planning it's seriously impacting my physical and mental

Very unprofessional. It snowed less than 1 inch and I guess they decided to take two days off work without notifying patients who had appointments for those days. I have tried to call nonstop and no one will answer. I drove all the way to Birmingham and spent $200 on a hotel room for two nights and they were closed. It’s sad that one of the only LGBT+ offices in Alabama is such a letdown.
