The Ashley, an Event and Banquet Hall in Charleston SC, is located in the West Ashley area at 1940 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, near Citadel Mall. The affordable and attractive event space is located in a free standing brick building with plenty of parking near beautiful downtown Charleston and is perfect for weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate parties, graduation parties, reunions, birthday parties and more.
The Ashley can accommodate groups from 20-100 attendees. We will work with all event planners, vendors and caterers in the Charleston area and can accommodate any request. We have brought The Ashley to West Ashley to fill the void of affordable venues and event spaces in the Charleston area.

Rates are Reasonable and are available upon request, rates are not quoted as they are subject to vary, according to the date, day of the week, hour of the event, time of the year. If The Ashley is a great fit for your group, then hopefully we can work out a rate that will work for your event. Charleston event space has become expensive, and The Ashley is willing to work with you to make your event more affordable.

I don't know where to start. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had renting a space for an event. First off my event was given no privacy. Mindy kept on interrupting my event while it was going on and bothering my guest. It was very embarrassing to say the least. While the event was happening she kept dropping in touching on our things, to the point where we had to tell them to get out. A lot happened that night with it ending in her interrupting our dinner and arguing with my guest because she was getting on their nerves.

Surprisingly nice venue attached to a local favorite pizza parlor! The space is great for 30-70 people, but a bit small if you tried to go any larger than that. Has a separate entrance, which is also a nice touch! We attended a sports banquet here and it was just lovely! Atmosphere is casual, but could be elegant, depending on what you do with the decor and lighting. To access the bathrooms, though, you do have to walk through the restaurant, so I wouldn't likely use this location for anything super formal or super intimate.

I had my wedding reception here over the weekend and it is absolutely stunning! I honestly didn’t have to have much decor bc the room is already beautiful. The owners are so accommodating and helped with whatever I needed. Response time is quick and I had all the help needed. Thank you Mindy for such an amazing place to have my wedding reception!

We had my son's rehearsal dinner at The Ashley. The venue was perfect for our event. Mindy recommended an excellent caterer who is familiar with The Ashley. Mindy was easy to work with, especially planning the party from long distance. The space was perfect for our event, and they provided the tables, chairs, and tablecloths. We had a great time and the room looked beautiful.
