Most recently I completed lumbar surgery, number 3 by Dr. Milikian. It was the easiest surgery I've ever experienced. I had a micro decompression on L3-4 with an overnight in the hospital. I have experienced NO pain whatsoever. NO PAIN MEDS needed. Dr. Milikian is an extremely highly skilled surgeon. If you need surgery you will have outstanding care with Dr. Milikian.

Wish I had seen him sooner. I was in such pain with my back and sciatic and pain killers were not really helping. He was very understanding, explained everything in detail and and put me at ease with what was happening and what my options were. His team was also wonderful and the surgery went smooth, even though we were going through a pandemic. I have recommended him to my husband and friends.

I received top-notch care from Dr. Melikian and his team. Cecilia and Kathy are his administrative backbone, and they answered probably over a hundred questions as I prepared for my 360 ALIF. The nurses and staff at DISC Surgery Center in Newport gave me such incredible care and attention. I felt like I had my own private ward in a world-class facility. Just two weeks after my procedure, I'm already feeling strong and have little pain -- real evidence of a very skilled surgeon. Full recovery will be a long road, and I know I'm in good hands.

About 2 month ago I woke up one morning with a practically a peralized left leg. I went to many doctors and everyone checked my leg could not find the problem. I was introduced to Dr. Melikian by a friend. I made an appointment and met with him. He diagnosed the issue in my leg which the source was in my neck. He set me up with an immediate surgery. This is a month later and I have got the feeling back in my leg and no pain. I am going through physical therapy but within less then a month I am already walking again. 20 days POST -OP. I have had chronic pain since I was 10 years old...now 48. Had a fusion 14 years ago C4-C7, threw the back of the neck from another Dr at UCLA. The procejure was so tramatic it took me many years to go seek more help as this prior proceddure caused me to stay away from Drs regarding my neck.
I found Dr. MELIKIAN , did my reseach on him, and went to a visit. He treated me with respect and heard me as many Dr. do not. He refered me for some nerve blocks to try and avoid sergury as a 1st option. To no avail, the blocks did not work. I appreciatae the fact that Dr. Melikian is not

Dr. Rojeh Melikian is the best, most caring, most relatable, most dedicated doctor I have dealt with in recent years. I went to him for a back injury. I had confided with my coworker that my first back doctor wanted to fuse my spine. My coworker recommended that I get a second opinion and referred me to Dr. Melikian and I'm sure glad he did. After an initial consultation, Dr. Melikian reviewed my medical history, xrays, and MRI and determined a microdecompression surgery was a viable option. This surgery was less envasive than a spinal fusion and could solve my issue of sciatica pain. I elected to go forward with the microdecompression surgery. My experience with Dr. Melikian far exceeded my expectations! At my initial consultation, Dr. Melikian took his time to listen to all of the symptoms I had been having and then gave me several options for treatment. He explained the risks and benefits of each and answered all of my questions. I decided to go ahead with having an artificial disk replacement at the level of C4-C5. Not sure where to start? I was referred to Dr. Melikian by my pain management Dr. llan Danan. After playing professional golf for 20 + years and 2 lower back fusions, I was in search of some pain relief. Dr. Melikian was so professional, thorough, and made me feel very comfortable and confident that he could help me! I had XLIF surgery 3 weeks ago. I walked 2 hours after surgery and was home within 24 hours. The pain is much less than my other fusions and just a small incision on my side.
