Services
Dr. Lawrence was born and raised in South Dakota. She first moved to Arizona in 2003. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. Dr. Lawrence did additional training by completing a residency in ocular disease and primary care on the Gila River Indian Reservation in Sacaton, AZ.
At Desert EyeCare Center, we specialize in comprehensive vision care for the entire family. We perform routine eye exams; diagnose and treat eye disease; fit contact lenses; and provide a wide selection of frames, lenses, and sunglasses. Non-emergency and routine appointments are usually made in advance, though we do accept walk-in patients if time is available.

I just want to say thank you to the whole staff. It was a great experience getting our 4 year old glasses they where so kind and patient with her and fully explained everything that was going on. They even broke down the cost and gave us options the Optometrist was great. I would recommend them to anyone who need glasses ect.

Had a wonderful experience at this eye doctor! Staff were very stringent with adherence to COVID regulations with temp check upon entrance, everyone wearing masks and cleaning down machines prior to use. The staff was very friendly, personable and even allowed my wife to accompany me to make financial decisions and pick out my frames (temp checked and masked of course)
The biggest reason I gave them five stars though is because the optometrist that saw me, Dr. Renee, actually diagnosed me with a condition I never even knew I had just by looking into my eyes. Without her knowledge and persistence

My husband experienced an eye injury at work. He is a welder, and a small piece of metal was lodged in his eye. After taking him to the ER at 11pm we were told that we would need to see an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist asap in the morning to remove the remaining metal. Morning came and I was on the phone with any one and everyone in the local area (and was running circles trying to get help).
However, one call over to DesertEyeCare Center and I was blown away by the amazing customer service. Not only did they arrange their schedule to fit my husband in, but they told us to come in immediately

Great experience overall. Front desk staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Dr was thorough and friendly. The new location is beautiful. Only downside was selection of eyeglass frames - I wish they'd had a larger variety of styles. Most seemed to be very similar in shape and size, which made it tough to find one I loved instead of liked.

I was contacted by the office and heard my issue, I am super impressed by how they wanted to make things right with me, thank you! I will be definitely be coming back!
I have been a patient for almost two years and Angel the receptionist there had ALWAYS been an unfriendly employee. I’m always surprised to see her there since she’s always rude, and wonder why she’s still employed. Well this morning was the final straw! My husband sent in my sons glasses in for repair a few weeks ago and then for new lenses. We hadn’t received a call that they were ready and my husband

I’m a new customer. Daughter needed an eye exam and i called the same day to see If they had any walk ins available since it was already Friday and weekend was coming . They were friendly on the phone and gave me a call back within minutes to see if they could fit me in and they did ! When we went in the new location was very neat and looked great . Also this is the first ever visit we’ve made at a eye doctor’s office and the staff greeted me and handed me paper work to fill out which was very easy and they called me as soon as I turned them in . Visit was very nice. My daughter is five.

I have had my annual exams and purchased glasses from Desert EyeCare Center for the last two and a half years. The staff is extremely professional and always courteous. Their pricing and selection of frames and lenses is excellent, and I have always received my glasses quickly and exactly as I have ordered them. I would highly recommend them for your eye care needs.
