Human society is in transition from the current era, where the dominant energy sources are fossil fuels, towards a future with more diversified and environmentally friendly energy sources. This transition is guided for two interrelated concepts: Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation. The first one is associated with science and technology, the second one is associated with our cultural values and change in behavior.
Spray foam Insulation is the more efficient thermal barrier to prevent heat transfer from Attic space towards the living space. The most used practice is applying the foam directly underneath the roof deck, between the joists, down to the exterior walls of the house, on the gable wall ends and sealing off the entire attic space.
Sometimes homes can just have more insulation added to already existing insulation. This process happens often after homes are newly built or after a person newly purchases a house and wants to make it more efficient. Unfortunately, sometimes new insulation should not be placed on degraded or dirty insulation.
Attic insulation is essential to having a comfortable home in South Florida. Many people think about insulation as something that keeps your home warmer in the winter, but that is not all that insulation does. In fact, attic insulation is essential to keeping your home at the right temperature in the summer.
Most people are familiar with heat transfer by way of conduction and convection, but radiation is a big factor. When you step outside and feel the heat of the South Florida sun, you are experiencing heat transfer by means of radiation and the same effect is happening on homes. The largest source of heat gain in your home is solar energy that arrives in the form of radiation.

On Tuesday, May 11, 2021 I had Insulation appointment with A BEST INSULATION INC at 8am, the technicians arrived on time, they were very courteous and answered all my questions and concerns. They started to do the job (attic blow insulation R-38) in an orderly manner and as EXCELLENT TEAM, when finished I checked the attic and the attic-insulation was amazingly done. My last electric bill was $258 hope I will publish next one. See pictures of before and after

A Best Insulation completed our spray foam insulation project in September of 2020 as part of a complete home remodeling that at the time of this writing is still on going.
To start our A Best Insulation sales rep was Mr. Ray Payano, prior to meeting with Ray I met with another vendor which provided a quote and I also got a quote from another vendor via email whom did not bother in visiting the site disappointing but not surprising since we were in the middle of the pandemic at the time.

These guys are fantastic. Very knowledgeable, reliable and completely honest. I cannot say enough about the quality, professionalism, and the pride they take in their work. I had over 2000 sq ft of spray foam insulation installed in the attic. All furniture and carpets were “properly protected” and they treated my home as if it were their own.

After many years in our home, we realized that we needed to reinstall insulation in the attic to get some energy savings and keep things cooler during the hot Miami summers. We checked with various insulation contractors and finally chose A Best Insulation, Inc. Calls were returned promptly and a proposal was issued that we accepted. A two-person crew did the work a couple of days later and we found them professional and very careful with our alarm system wired through the attic, and they cleaned up when their work was complete. I got several quotes from different companies, but A Best had the best price for Spray Foam Open Cell. As many have said Sophie is very knowledgeable and great to talk to. She gave me all the information I needed and was able to give me a quote over the phone. We agreed she would send someone out to take a look at the attic and make sure quote was accurate.
Ray came to give me a quote, he was well prepared, and also very knowledgeable. He took his time and explained the benefits of spray foam. Talking to him was like talking to a friend, he made the decision to choose them very easy.
