Dr. Jess' personal healing journey with ovarian cancer taught her what it means to truly heal from the inside out. In finding her path, she quickly understood that healing is not a linear process, but a journey, and no two healing journeys are ever completely alike. Dr. Jess aims to treat patients by walking alongside them on the path toward healing.
Chiropractic is about optimizing your overall health by restoring normal function within the nervous system. The nervous system controls all other systems of the body: Respiratory, Digestive, Integumentary, Circulatory, Urinary, Reproductive, Musculoskeletal, and Endocrine. This is why chiropractic care helps the body heal from much more than pain.
I've had horrid back and neck pain for as long as I can remember. It had gotten to where my mobility was becoming more and more limited, and I was only 23 years old, so I wanted to get checked out. Jess not only brought immense physical comfort and healing to my body, but she is also a gentle presence that genuinely is a part of the healing process.

After many years of suffering back pain, going to many different doctors and chiropractors, I finally found dr Jess at Journey. My first visit I was literally speechless. Her demeanor, how thorough she is, how nice the front desk staff are.. literally everything about journey is amazing. Where to even begin?! My family and I have been seeing Journey Chiropractic since I got pregnant and I have never felt better. I started seeing Dr. Jess 11 months ago for shoulder pain, neck pain, and migraines. The first time I walked through the doors, I felt incredibly welcomed and like I was in the absolute best hands after being greeted by Dara and Theresa. Dr. Jess immediately got to work on my concerns and because of her, my shoulder pain is gone and I no longer rely heavily on migraine medication.

I have been to chiropractors since I was 12 years old. They were always super helpful. Once I became pregnant with my first child it was so important to me to be seen by someone who specializes in prenatal care. From the moment I stepped into journey I knew I was home. I describe Jess, Theresa, and Dara as angels because I don’t know how else to describe their kind hearts. In addition to Dr. Jess’s amazing kindness, she is the best chiropractor I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot!!). She is SO gentle and fast but SO effective. If you’re look for a sign to go to journey, this is it!

Dr. Jess is so sweet and awesome at what she does! Being late in pregnancy, I started having some severe hip/lower back pain while sleeping! I’ve felt so much better and have been getting better sleep since coming to Journey Chiropractic! It’s also great knowing that she is aligning my pelvis and getting everything ready for my sweet babe to get into proper position and to hopefully have a great labor/delivery.
The front staff is also the SWEETEST and great to work with! I would highly recommend this team of women! ❤️
