Simply amazing!
Haven't been in person, but a family member brought three of their pies to Thanksgiving: a pumpkin, a bourbon pecan and an apple pie. I couldn't believe how good they were! All of them were packed with flavor, and you could tell they used only the highest quality spices. The crusts were flaky, buttery and moist! It's fantastic to find a place in Hopewell that can rival the quality of a Levain or Dominique Ansel in a big city like NYC.
I will be sure to go in-person as soon as I can!

Our family lives this cute little spot. We often go on Saturday mornings when the line is long and the wait is worth it. After recently moving from the west coast we were thrilled to find this gem in Hopewell. The staff is so kind and helpful. We love the variety of options each week. Everything we have had is amazing! A menu is available every day on Instagram and is worth the follow. They even have vegan or gluten-free options from time to time which has been great for us to pick up treats for our extended family. Those options are delicious!

Absolutely love this bakery! I stumbled upon it once when I was visiting my parents house and have been addicted since my first cookie. I love that they post their menu so you know what to expect and every single thing they make is delicious and has so much care put into it. I try to make a point every time I visit my family.

Wonder city bakery is absolutely fantastic. They cycle through their menu, so make sure you check their Facebook page for what they are offering that day. With that being said, I have yet to have something that was not amazing. You can tell that they take great pride in their offerings and supporting the Hopewell community!

As a food blogger, I eat out all the time. This is a place I return to again and again. Trish is a fantastic baker and I have NEVER even been mildly disappointed with anything I've had here. The Breakfast sandwiches and Brioche doughnuts served on Saturdays are sublime and her chocolate chip cookies laced with sea salt are amazing. The cheesecakes and Cinnamon Buns are incredible too. Everything is so fresh and there is such attention to detail. I recommend this place over and over again, it's a true gem.

I hold this place with high regard and much love. This was the place we went to right after my husband and I tied the knot. We love their cupcakes and they have fresh goodies all the time. They also carry our favorite brand of ice cream Richlands! You will not be disappointed when you go. I have an order placed here for an anniversary gift to my husband and our home which we will close on hopefully soon!

The cinnamon rolls at Wonder City Bakery are the things that dreams are made of. I live in Charlottesville and will gladly drive an hour and a half one way to get my cinnamon rolls and sweet tooth fix. The cakes, cookies, and baked goods are all made with so much love every day; you can tell with every bite. The ingredients are all as local as they come which means a lot especially in a time where shopping small is encouraged. Always pleased coming to the bakery! I love that the menu changes daily, so you know it’s gotta be fresh! My favorites: key lime bars, cheesecake, strawberry parfait, and the brioche donuts. Can’t go wrong with any of the cookies. The breakfast choices are always generous and tasty. Cold brew coffee is my go to! Service is always excellent and I appreciate their work ethics. Prices are good too. Looking forward to my next visit :)

By far the best bakery in the area! I’ve loved everything we’ve gotten-from donut holes, to cookies to the BEST brownies and cinnamon rolls the size of your face! Also, their lunch is amazing if you get the chance to grab it when the offer it!
Their hours are definitely not the most convenient for our family’s schedule right now, which is the only reason we don’t go there more.
But such great service, cute place, great team, and right in the heart of Hopewell with coffee, the library and parks right near.

Such amazing service! This bakery is so cute, I cannot wait until dining in is available because it's definitely an inviting atmosphere. The coffee is great, the cinnamon rolls never disappoint and the daily specials are almost gone every time I rush over to try them- because they're that good! Cookies, cupcakes, cheesecake, pastries.. there's something for everyone!

Wonder city bakery is a most appreciated business in hopewell, va. everything is exceptional. their baked goods, lunch specials (chicken salad sandwich with greens or chips and their bibimbap), pimento cheese ( yes, pimento cheese-sold in containers) and coffee will never disapoint. for me, it is definitely the best bakery you will find in the tri-cities and it may rival those in rva. make it a must visit soon. the menu may vary; the quality and goodness never do!

Home made EVERYTHING! Local delicious ice cream and coffee! The Cinnabon's are to die for and each flavor of cupcakes just makes you melt !! So good! This is a perfect place to go where you can appreciate carefully made fresh foods and understand this is not a drive through Starbucks . It is worth every minute of the drive and wait!

I owned a bakery in the eighties and nineties so I am very critical. This place is amazing. Ate a wonderful donut there. Got home and had their last cream puff...as good as mine were. I was known for cheesecake so I got a piece of their Dreamsicle cheesecake. OMG I am eating it now and I am blown away..
