Vista High School serves junior and senior students in the Escalon Unified School District who are in need of credit recovery through alternative education methods. Our goal is straightforward and simple: to ensure that students have the opportunity to progress toward graduation and explore post high school career and college options.

The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school. A SARC can be an effective way for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals. The public may also use a SARC to evaluate and compare schools on a variety of indicators.
Juniors and Seniors who attend VHS are credit deficient. Each student is tested to assess reading and math abilities and then assigned tasks based on their individual results. Students are expected to work toward achievable goals during a total of twelve 3-week grading periods throughout the school year.
Students attending Vista High School are exposed to various learning opportunities throughout the year including visits from speakers representing the Armed Forces, Art Institutes, Delta and Modesto Junior Colleges, San Joaquin Valley College, California Beauty College, Adrians Beauty College, and the California Highway Patrol.
